Very sharp and non slip.
Wow these are great scissors. They cut through denim as if it was silk. I suppose all scissors are sharp when new, so I will see how sharp they remain. The thing is that the blades have very minutely serrated so that they don't slip even when cutting fine slippery fabrics. If there is a drawback it us that they cannot be rested on the table as you cut like dressmaking shears, and the blades are relatively short. However they are not designed as dressmaking shears .

meet the description
I'm using these scissors all the time for my sewing now. They're razor sharp and have kept their sharpness so far. Fairly light compared with my others but they cut through some pretty thick fabrics. Really comfortable to use too.

What a useful piece of equipment
There is not much more you can say about these scissors or any scissors from Karen Kay Buckley. Perfect is every aspect. Really sharp especially on the tip. A really good design of these and other scissors. Excellent . Definitely a product well worth the money to invest in.

Karen Kay Buckley Perfect Scissors 7 1/2 inch.
This is my third purchase of KKB scissors, as I have the other two sizes too. These are fantastic, so easy to hold for my sore hands, and so sharp and precise in cutting due to the serrated blades that are beautifully pointed and very sharp. They are the best range of scissors I have ever had! I also like the way they are all provided with a cover, it keeps the blades sharp wherever you store them. And...easy colours to identify in my caddy! The order came well within the quoted time of delivery and in perfect condition too.If you are looking for a lovely gift for a sewing friend...these would be greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

Really sharp at the points for tiny snips
Kate Buckley scissors are comfortable, easy to hold and stay sharp to their points making them ideal for sewing of all types. Brilliant for those little snips when doing turned edge appliqué etc. I have them in two sizes.

Cuts Like Butter
At first I found these scissors awkward because the thumb hole is the same size as the other hole for your fingers so I didn’t think I would be able to use them. I have small fingers. They are extremely light which I do like. I finally used them and could not believe how easy they were to use, I cut a few pieces of material with fusible fleece and the cut sooooo smoothly just like cutting soft butter. Also once I used them they weren’t awkward at all. Highly recommend them.Oh I should mention I also purchased the blue handle scissors and the pink handle scissors ✂️. The blue handle ones were my first pair.Wish they also came in pinking shears.

Perfect!
Highly recommend!! Here’s why…I’ve been sewing and quilting for decades. I started using my grandmother’s clunky and heavy but superbly super sharp dressmaker shears to the newer metal and plastic models throughout the generations of scissors innovations. Some were expensive, some were okay, some great, many models needed resharpening. As time went on, it was harder to find a sharpening location so I tucked those heavy expensive straight and pinking shears somewhere.Over the years, I’ve noticed some scissors became harder to maneuver and not too easy to use, either because the handles were uncomfortable, the blades would become dull or “sticky” and not “fluid” opening and closing.I kept seeing multiple reviews heralding the joys of these “perfect”, affordable scissors. I dismissed them thinking it couldn’t be true. Fast forward to a couple of months ago. I have arthritis in my fingers. My current pair of scissors became clunky and painful to use (I would put on a quilting glove for padding). The backup was losing its “edge”. I mostly use a rotary cutter nowadays but a great pair of sewing shears is a must!So I decided to give it a try and I ordered a pair of Perfect Scissors. Joy! It took some getting used to the ultra fine serrated blades but today they are my go to shears. Lightweight. Comfy. Doesn’t matter if you’re right or left handed. Super sharp! Hoping they last a long time but given how affordable they are, it’s worth picking up extra pairs and in multiple sizes. Go get yours!
