Actually surprisingly nice for the price
I was definitely skeptical about buying these, as others I’ve looked at around this price had bad reviews about them not expanding and not sticking etc, but I am happily surprised to how great these are. First of all they came air sealed very tightly, and once opened they expanded to their full 2 in size, and shape in seconds. Second they have a card with the panels that says how to hang them, (which basically says press firm on every part of the panel for a nice amount of time). The card also said “clean wall before hanging” which was nice, however they didn’t say how to clean the wall. For me, I have painted walls and didn’t want to damage the paint, so I used water and a little bit of dawn soap, and dipped in a sponge then ringed it out, after a bit of rubbing the wall just fry it with a cloth and it works perfect, with no damage to the paint. Don’t use Clorox. They do not tell you how to position them however, which I suggest you look up before putting them up. I use these for playing and recording guitar with no echo, and without annoying my family, and there are certain ways you can hang any sound panel for maximum tonal efficiency, so I highly recommend looking up how to place these around your room. They stick very well for me and I no problems hanging them up, use a level and a pencil to hang these properly, you can eye ball it if you want but you only get one chance to hang them correctly. I was really surprised in how much these stop sound from bouncing off the walls, if you’re a musician you’ll hear the difference. And if your using these for sound proofing, they work great for that too. I highly recommend these if your on a budget like myself, I would happily buy them again. The only two downsides I see are the instructions are brief and they don’t tell you how to clean your wall, or how to position these when you hang them. The other is they have a faint chemical odor, but I opened my window and door then blasted a fan and the smell dissipated in an hour or two so it wasn’t a big deal for me. Hope this review helps somebody!

Best option for the price
My husband works from home and has to have a close to sound proof office for his line of work. Our new house has some of the creepiest hollow doors from the 80’s. I purchased three kits to cover the front and back side of his door and had a couple of tiles left over as spares or repair since we have dogs. It’s not complete sounds proof but, having a very active 2 year old doing normal toddler volume. It has help tremendously!!!! We are looking into purchasing more to place in different spots on the wall to help with sound control as well. Have yet had an issue with them falling off but, they do have extra stickers to help restock if that happens.

Did the trick!
I ordered these to line the back of a stage wall. We have live bands playing weekly and installed a drum shield to give a more even mix to the crowd. Even with the plexiglass shield in place , the reflections of the drum sounds would bounce off the wall behind the drummer into the room. At that point it remained loud and introduced an echo. After installing these panels behind the drummer, we enjoyed a clean mix with no drum sound reflections. Product was as described and the adhesive works extremely well. One month in place and all pads are firmly in place with no peeling. As you can see in the picture, we may need to rethink our chalkboard paint concept. Lol

Great for townhome laundry room doors!
I originally ordered these for bedroom application, but after moving into our new place and seeing how loud the new washing machine was in our laundry space I decided to apply them to the sliding doors that close off the area. They brought the volume down 2 decibels (I used a reader to confirm), and in a home with a vaulted loft area right next to the laundry room that matters! Also helps dampen the reverberation overall. I can't say how it may work for general audio, but it certainly is helpful to soften the volume of sound bouncing off hard surfaces. Main con - have a space to air these out after opening. Took a couple of days to do.

Exactly What I Needed
Just started my work from home job and had some difficulty isolating the noise outside of my office. I did some research and did not want to build anything. After looking for some alternatives I came across this option and decided to take a chance. I immediately noticed a difference after installation. Not only was noise reduced from the inside and outside noise, but the installation was extremely easy. Each panel has adhesive already attached to it which made installation very simple. I had it attached to the wall within minutes. With that being said, I can’t recommend this product enough. If you want something cheap, easy to install(no drills, thumbtacks screws, adhesive required) then this is for you.

They work
I can hear my roommate cough but the SNORING is SO MUCH harder to notice. Very light compared to waking me up previously. So for the price I am happy!!! I would say it takes noise from a 10 to a 4. Looks good on the wall. You'll need to glue them though or get hit in the middle of the night by foam

Reduces voice echo; light and easy to hang
My partner and I both work remotely on the same floor of our home, and I also take a language course at home. With wood plant flooring and no cushy furniture, sound bounced around easily. These foam squares are great! I've only hung a 12-pack in my 10x10 foot office but was still able to notice a difference. The self-adhesive on the back is pretty sticky. Ieasured and cut squares from a light cardboard box (thank you, Amazon) and attached the foam pieces.I had also bought small Command strips to attach the foam to my newly-painted walls but didn't end up using them. When temporarily hanging them on the walls to plan out positioning I used a doubled-up piece of painters tape -- so far they haven't fallen down yet so I've just left them with the tape to avoid more work and having to stick strips to the wall. Going one month strong now -- we'll see what happens with the brutal Texas summer humidity!

No Odor and Works Great
I have had these foam patches for about two weeks and they aren't peeling of the walls. There was no order and they were ready to go out of the box. I play piano and acoustic gutiar in a duplex and my neighbors have yet to complain since putting them up.

Low quality
Foam is not very dense and it doesnt adhere well to surfaces. Better to buy it from a proper supplier
