Why can't they make quality cookie presses
It looked cheap, and it is, but it is priced cheap, keep your dough soft and this might last. Not sure why they don't put in some effort and build a better cookie press

Breaks on first use
Broke on the first cookie. Ratchet mechanism was nice, but only 4 tiny plastic posts hold the top and bottom sections together. These gave out on the first cookie. I was using room temp shortbread dough with a heavy load of fats.
