Received the item with the paint already chipping off one of the brackets. Doesn’t give me a lot of hope for its durability but wanted to persevere with the Go Rhino sport bar with light actuator because of its aesthetics.Contacted AMZN support who would only offer me the option to return for a refund and deal with the hassle of returning the whole actuator and reordering it instead of doing the right thing and simply replacing the one bracket that was chipped. Disappointed with their solution and lack of willingness to accommodate a simple bracket replacement.

This doesn't work. It is very weak and the bar bangs into the sport bar even driving on the street

Kinda a pain to install but worth it

As advertised, Rhino is a great brand.

Cool concept but terrible execution. Actuator is the cheapest quality and does not stand the test of time. One year after install and the motion was squeaky and jerky. The oring around the rod had begun to deteriorate, the plastic was oxidized and there was a 1/4” of play at any position causing massive movement in the beams when driving. Furthermore, the actuator only attaches to one side of the light mounting bar which results in 2 inches of play on the opposite side exacerbating the movement of the beams when driving. There’s also glob of glue where the wire enters the actuator instead of a cable gland. I had to completely reengineer the actuator system upgrading to dual marine grade actuators and fabing up custom mounting brackets for them. Works well now but don’t buy this if you plan on doing anything other than impressing your fiends or doing car shows, and if you do, make sure everyones at a distance because the actuator motor sounds like it’s of a black decker can opener.
