Perfect for use.
Our shower is entered by a 10" step, which has become increasingly difficult as we've grown older. using this 7" step in front of the shower makes access and exit much easier and safer. It's perfect for the job as it is strong and has a non-slip surface. I wish we had bought it years ago.

Not as non slip as it would have you believe. Had to put rubber stickers on to stop sliding

Height and sturdiness
Cannot use on any floor surface apart from carpet. It slips and slide otherwise and could be dangerous to use.
