Good from the safety angle

I found this product extremely easy to cut to size using a combination of scissors and a craft knife. It was an absolute dream to fit and I was pleasantly surprised at how flat it lies once it's in position. I didn't even need to use double-sided tape to hold it down as the texture seems to grip the floor adequately. It's very simple to slide the electrical cable into the groove and it appears to be very well protected indeed. Just what I needed to secure a cable beneath a carpet without having the tell-tale ridges appearing within days. I would highly recommend this product to those wanting a simple but effective solution to effectively hiding stray cables.

Although this strip worked well, after five years of use it's now useless and the various sections have detached from the body of the moulding and the strip no longer holds the cables in place. So, if you;re planning on purchasing, factor in it will only last five years...

Very good product which we trimmed to fit.

Does it's job well initially. Ideal for covering/protecting floor cables; but I've had this stuff before - the 'flaps' that cover the 'cable groove' tear away after a year-or-so; so you need to keep replacing it periodically - which makes it a bit expensive. Pity.

Conceals an extension cord and network cable. Weighted down so is flat and sturdy.Keeps cords in place, easily cuttable for length reduction, and reduces trip hazard.

In meinem Büro ließ sich das LAN Kabel nicht an der Wand (oder Decke) entlang verlegen und es gibt auch keinen Kabelkanal. Ich habe es jetzt mittels dieses Kabelkanals einfach über den Fußboden verlegt. Das klappt ganz prima, weil der Kanal sich aufgrund seiner Schwere flach auf den Boden legt, es war kein Kleben notwendig. Der Durchmesser ist für eine LAN Kabel groß genug, auch die Eigenverdrillung (ist das etwas, was es gibt? Ich meine, die Lust des Kabels sich so zu verdrehen, wie es aufgerollt war) des Kabels wird von dem Kanal erfolgreich verhindert. Für mich also eine geeignete Lösung!
