It's been years (and I mean like 25 years) since I weirded a paint brush and let's just say when I decided to give it a go again (let's call it nostalgia) I was unpleasantly surprised at the price of citadel paints. Someone told me about army painter so I ordered these. Very good consistency cover very well and each pot actually has a paint ball in to mix the paint which I was very surprised (and very addicted to shaking it) and happy about. Definitely my new brand (not that buying citadel 25 years can be called my old brand lol). Recommended.

This is a painting set for the Game Master series but in fact the paints could be used subsequently for other models if desired, not just the mythical ones.Speaking of models, sadly you only get the one in this set. This, like the old airfix model aeroplanes, needs to be pressed out of a the plastic holding sheet and then put together, but it looks suitably detailed.Included are a couple of booklets, showing you the best way to go about painting and decorating your figure, which are definitely worth a read if you are a beginner.The main thing here is the impressive modelling paints. There is a good selection of colours and all have suitably mythical names, Troll Snot anyone? They are high quality and thanks to the bottle/dropper design, can be controlled easily and shouldn't dry out or get gunky.If you are interested in getting started in this hobby, then this set makes a lot of sense. The booklet provides information on painting but obviously how well you get on will be down to your own skills and steady hand.

I brought these for my husband to use on his 3d printing, they are really good and the colour is vibrant especially on something printed using grey filament. Easy to use and a little goes a long way. Very happy

Very impressed with this set. Army Painter really seem to be expanding and diversifying their range of products over the last few years. I have their brushes and wet palette and a few cans of primer etc but I must admit that I have mostly used paint by their rival with the Spanish sounding name however having used these I wouldn't hesitate to buy more.The paints themselves flow well, have good pigmentation and are easy to dilute for various effects. The bottles are also good to use and even have steel BB's already added so you can mix them easily by shaking.I guess this set is aimed at doing scenery more than anything else though it does come with a miniature for you to practise on and its more to show off the green ooze effect paint (which is rather good)In the box you get 15 acrylics, 2 metallic, 2 washes and the effect paint plus the miniature, a brief but handy painting guide and a pretty decent drybrush.So for the money it's actually pretty good value as you would pay a good bit more to buy this all individually.

I've dabbled a little in painting miniatures over the years but I've always found I've lacked a good variety of paints. Mixing was the only option but a frustrating one at times, as I didn't really have a way to store any mixes. Sets like these from The Army Painter are a great way to get started or to supplement your collection.This particular set is titled Wilderness Adventure, and has a selection of paints with more earthen hues. In the box there are: 15 regular acrylic paints, 5 special paints that include washes, a metallic and a glow effect, a dry brush, a painting guide and a Witch miniature that is exclusive to the set. The paints appear to be good quality, and the miniature is nicely sculpted and easy to construct.A good selection of paints for a reasonable price. Especially when you consider the addition of the miniature and the brush.

I've been dabbling in miniature painting for quite some time, and finding the right paint set can be a bit of a pickle. However, this one caught my eye, and I must say it has made my miniature world come alive. With 20 captivating shades, I painted the included witch figurine with the utmost delight. The dry brush was a nifty addition, adding depth and texture to my work. I'm over the moon with my creations and can't wait to experiment further. Five stars!

So this gamemaster paint set is the first time I've used anything from the brand what I honestly really do like about this is the included models this lets you have basically a solid little test in my opinion before using on either models you've purchased or made yourself.The colours apply really nicely and its quite a unique batch in the mix of range of colours even though it doesn't have a self applied primer for the set it honestly is not missing it and one can easily be picked up which will last plenty of time.I tested the colours on the models and some 3D prints I done using the paints as they are but with a self made water palette and using thinners on the paints and still the quality is really there on both either resin models and 3D printed Pla models.For its price I can honestly say its partially a bargain and something that anybody big into the hobby of painting miniatures or someone who crafts themselves with a 3D printer and wants to spice up products who may use paints similar this is a quality little set overall.Delighted with it and will need to look more into the brand to see what other sets they sell to invest in getting more of it would highly recommend.

I used these paints to customize the Hasbro Drizzt action figure and they worked flawlessly. The paints apply very easily and dry quickly. The variety of colours allow for a wide range of applications.

Schönes Set - bin auch als Anfänger gut damit klar gekommen.Habe aber früher im Modellbau auch öfter gemalt. Das ist aber nicht dasselbe.

Une goutte permet de faire une petite chevelure ou une botte par exemple.✔️ J'ai essayé sur une vieille figurine qui avait perdu de ses couleurs, il a repris meilleure allure.✔️ La petite figurine est sympa à monter et à peindre, c'est instructif.✔️ Pinceau moyennent fin fourni, on peut de suite s'y mettre.✔️ Très beau livret abondamment illustré en explications, photos, conseils...
