FABULOUS 😍 OLD school Tapioca for pudding! 🙌
A). THIS stuff IS hard to find. 2). If you love the old school, chewy LARGE tapioca pudding from your childhood?? 🤔 THIS is IT!!! 👌❤️ Just a heads-up up to NOT soak the pearls too long! "Overnight" in room temp water are the instructions but make sure you DON'T go much longer than the average 8 hours. I forgot and the pearls fell apart way easier and made the pudding have an off texture. TOTALLY edible but just not as good as directed!! 👌 Just a fair warning for those of us who tend to be forgetful!! 🙋🏼♀️🙄👎😂 Otherwise??🤨 These ARE the bomb!!! ❤️🙌😍 I even add EXTRA and just adjust the rest OF the ingredients and it's ALWAYS come out outstanding!! LOVE the chewiness factor with the extras added!!! 🤤🤤🤤 It's more time consuming than the "instant" and WAAAAAAY WAY BETTER than the "small pearl" tapioca!! But sooo totally worth the extra time and effort!!❤️👍😁👌 I even get crazy and use half to 3/4 HEAVY cream and love it warm!!! 🙋🏼♀️🤤❤️ Definitely NOT a low cal version but if I'm gonna indulge then I'm really gonna INDULGE!!!😂 I got one bag to try it and came right back after first batch and bought a CASE!!! 👌❤️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're a fan OF the OLD school, CHEWY, LARGE pearl tapioca pudding!!🍮👌❤️🤤🤤🤤 ALSO suggest that you invest in a good double boiler if you don't have one! 👌 it's GOTTA cook for an hour before you even add the (tempered) eggs! And I put it on super low once it reached 198°-200°F and just left it!!!👌 (I'd also recommend a good, instant read digital thermometer!!) Granted, I checked it but that went down from every 15 minutes to once every 30, simply to just stir it and make sure there was still enough water in the bottom pot OF the double boiler! And you'll learn how to play around with it too! Ideal spot is right around the 200° mark!!👌 But EVERY stove is different so DON'T just walk AWAY UNTIL you KNOW HOW yours handles this!! 🙌🤞🤞🤞 Happy cooking y'all!!!❤️ Git you some!!!😁👍🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Very good quality tapioca
Finally a high-quality tapioca pearl. Many tapioca pearls dissolve away when you rinse them, but I like that these lost almost no coating when rinsed. I followed the instructions and it came out beautifully with plump pearls of exactly the right consistency -- not too hard, not too soft. I had to subtract one star because the package is 7 ounces and the instructions call for 1/2 cup (4 ounces) of pearls, so the second batch you make will require a little downward adjusting of liquid and sugar. Still worth it.

Expensive to just buy one, but just what I needed, 6 pack was a great value
I looked in every store in my town and wasted a lot of time looking for the large tapioca balls and couldn't find them anywhere. They came fast and I was delighted to get them. I needed them for a Danish Fruit (cherry) soup recipe of my Mother's I wanted to make. They worked perfectly and I was very please. When I went to order another bag, I realized I could order 6 for what 2 of these cost. So I went ahead and ordered the 6 pack when I went to reorder. Maybe more than I needed but now I know I'll never run out and will have enough to give my sister some. So If you only need one bag, these are great, if you might want more go for the 6 pack!

Sticker on back of package covered the directions for making the pudding
And when I tried to tear the sticker off -- carefully -- it still took off part of the package paper that the directions were printed on. This stuff is no good if you don't know what to do with it.

Not what I expected and cannot return!
Wanted to make Scandinavian fruit soup for the holidays and need large or giant size tapioca pearls. This tapioca is much smaller than I expected. Unfortunately it is not eligible for return. Also found out by searching online that this is available for much less money from other sources. My mistake! Feel like a fool for being ripped off.

Make More Then Enough Tapioca Pudding
Some people who purchased this are complaining about the small amount you get for the price, but this stuff really expands when you soak it and then cook it, In fact if you add up the price you pay for the ready made stuff you buy in the Supermarket to how much this pouch makes, it more then pays for itself.I did use the recipe that was on the back of the bag, but I did not care for the step where they recommend that you separate the eggs and whip the Egg Whites and fold them in, the results doesn't give you a smooth like Pudding texture, So the next time I'm just going to forgo separating the Eggs and just add the beaten Yoke & Whites together after tempering them with the Hot liquid,I would also like to add that a Double Broiler is not necessary, But you will need to stir the bottom of the cooking pudding constantly to prevent it (Tapioca) from Scorching and sticking to the bottom, Soaking over night is a must in order to soften the Hard Tapioca so it cooks quicker.

Pricey... but delish
Found a recipe that I was dying to try. I hadn't made Tapioca in years! This one didn't disappoint!

large tapioco
Really far to expensive for the small amount you receive. I would think someone is having a laugh should be taken of sale.

The product is wonderful, but...
This is a listing for 6 pouches that are 7 oz each and they only sent me one, and since they changed the price, I'm assuming they made a mistake, and I would either like to have my 5 packages or they can refund me my order and take it as a learning experience...the one star is for the actual product, otherwise I wouldn't order from them again.
