Easy to hang and daisy chain together
I bought a six pack of these. I put three in a 10 foot x 20 foot shed along the roof line, and they really make it bright in the shed. I took the other three and put in a basement storage room, and they really brightened up that room too. The fact that they can plug into each other (up to four in a daisy chain) is perfect. I only daisy chained three and have had zero problems. Since they have a normal plug, you can literally put them most anywhere without extra wiring. The cord is about 55 inches long leaving room to place them around a basement storage room without problems. Light is bright white and works so much better than a fluorescent bulb, and LED takes hardly any energy. The pull chain is nice so they can always be plugged in and turn on/off. In the shed I'll wire a switch to the plug, but in the basement storage that isn't a good option so the pull chain is nice. Buying in a six pack made them about $10/each, which is super cheap for the amount of light they generate. They don't have a backing, which threw me a little at first. However, the LED lights are in strong plastic and don't weigh much. They will lean a little to one side if the plug doesn't go straight out, but for a storage room or shed that is not really a problem.

Great lights!
I bought a 4 pack of these lights a little over a year ago, and in the last 3 months have purchased many more. I got the 4000K cool white, frosted lens. Bottom line – they’re great! Very bright, turn on quickly, nice light-color match to my old cool white fluorescents as well as my old, cool white habituated eyeballs.Backstory and usage: I have a 1200 sq ft garage I built 18 years ago, and at the time outfitted it with a plethora of cheap 4’ shop light fixtures. The fixtures were around $10, bulbs 2 bucks each, so $14 per fixture. But over time I’ve found the cheap fixtures came with cheap ballasts (go figure) that have been very hard on bulbs, requiring too-frequent changes. I can’t really say how often as I haven’t kept track. But I’m a weekend warrior, not a professional, so usage is part time, and it seems like I would go through and refresh some flickering bulbs, only to have more flickering a couple weeks later. Frustrating. Now, most of those fixtures were functional in some conditions, but flickered with heat and humidity, which I read is normal for failing ballasts. In contrast, I have a couple ooooold commercial fixtures I got from somewhere, with 4 tubes each. Who knows how old these ballasts are, but I don’t think I’ve replaced a single tube in those fixtures in 18 years! No wonder a quality ballast cost $25, while a whole cheap fixture cost $10. These LEDs have now replaced all my old fixtures except those good oooooold ones.Choices, choices! 3 color choices, and clear or frosted lenses, this is one reason I chose Sunco. I first ordered 5000K daylight because most people love them, and I got clear because they had more lumen output. Mistake on both counts. The clear lens allowed the individual LEDs to make their mark on the light pattern, casting weird lines everywhere; I don’t recommend the clear to anybody. And the color was so…blue. I returned them, got the frosted cool white 4000K instead and it fixed both those things, and is still brighter than the fluorescents ever were! I really like the cool white color, that’s just me.Reflector: Another reason I chose Sunco was that they have a full sheet metal reflector piece. Many of the cheaper ones don’t, they just have two LED tubes connecting the ends. Two things here. One, light comes out of the tube 360 degrees around, and I am not mounting them against a white ceiling, so I wanted the “top half” of the light to be reflected downward. Two, the sheet metal reflector gives mounting flexibility; I simply drilled two holes in the metal at the spacing I needed for any given location and screwed them to the rafters with drywall screws and fender washers. Works great. But there was a change in the reflector design part way through the ones I bought. I see that they have updated the pictures to reflect the change, so that’s good, but I didn’t notice until I pulled my last batch out of the boxes. They used to have a wider, more full reflector that angles down around the tubes. Now it’s cut narrower without the skirts, and lets a lot of light shine upward at an angle past them, wasted. I attached pics of this. They still mount up fine and that appears to be the only change, so be it. I actually used the reflectors from my old shop light fixtures and sandwiched them between the new lights and the rafters, which widens them out some. Still not as good as the OG Sunco ones, but they are OK. Don’t really know how big of a deal this is, but I did not like the change.Longevity – hard to say now. LEDs are supposed to last forever, I certainly hope they fare better than my old fixtures with less trouble! The other part of why I chose the Sunco lights was the excellent reviews, they are working for people so far. Depending on the purchase point I paid on average maybe 40% more per fixture than I did 18 years ago for the fluorescents plus bulbs.Overall – very pleased with the switch to Sunco shop lights. 5 stars from me!

Good product, better customer service. Well worth the money!
-Let me start off by saying, I’m the first person to read reviews, but never ever write them. Hopefully that will speak to how happy I am with the lights, and the customer service I received from sunco.- I recently finished off my 24/32 foot garage. Heated and insulated it, and needed a simple but effective lighting system. I found these and read a few good reviews and for the price I thought, sure why not. I ordered 16, and the first 6 showed up relatively fast, but the box was damaged badly and busted open, clearly damaged in transit. One light was damaged badly and another was as well but not as bad. I got ahold of sunco the next day, and spoke to a real English speaking person with no hold times! I shot over a few pictures of the damaged lights in an email, and they shipped me new ones the next day with tracking info. I received it thinking I was just getting 1 to replace the junk one. But to my surprise there was 3 new ones. Was pretty please with it since I could easily make the other 2 fit into my plans.-the other 10 showed up without incident. And I got to work hanging them. My garage had 4 light fixtures already, and I re-wired them into outlets so I could run them all on an existing switch. Worked out nicely, if you’re looking to do the same. I also added a stand alone plug high in the wall, and ran to another switch so I could turn on the lights over my bench independently of the rest of the garage.-some say 18 lights might be a bit overkill for a 8 foot high, 24/32’ garage, however anyone who’s ever worked in a dim lit garage before, might understand where I’m coming from. They are very bright! But it’s perfect when you’re trying to work on something. All the lights also have their own pull cord, so worst case scenario you kill a few when you don’t want that much light, but it’s there when you need it. You can also switch off one that’s further up in line to the plug without shutting power off the ones behind it. Really liked that for my application.-All in all... they’re great lights, they have been up in my garage for a couple months now and I couldn’t be happier. Far as longevity I can’t say much yet... but for the price, I’ll just buy a few more when and if any ever burn up.

Not bad for less than $10 each
Very easy to hang using the provided hardware. I used the chains. Not as bright as some folks made em out to be. They are way better than fluorescents, however. Very flimsy, they are made with the least amount of material to keep cost down. Just installed 7/9/24. We'll see how long they last. Bought the 6 pack, figured if I got a bad one, I'd have spares. Only needed 3.

Work Great
Easy to setup, like that they have power plugin on end to daisy chain up to 4 lights.Brighter than expected so that’s a win. Super light weight for the size.

They hang on hooks and strong light
You need an electrician to be able to re configure the ceiling. But it is good price and very bright white light.
