Furniture renovation
Have a large antique mahogany Hallstand, which unfortunately had a couple of grazes, when moved. Now as good as when first built, marks gone.

Bumph said brown though looked mahogany. Should have trusted my eyes mahogany it is. Saying that it is still excellent as a mahogany furniture polish.

Solved a difficult problem
I had a damp problem in the corner of my edwardian living room. The damp problem was fixed years ago, but I had not been able to fix the water staining left behind on the skirting boards. I tried various French polishing lotions and clear wax which seemed to look ok for a few minutes, till it dried, when the staining would show through again. I was starting to consider varnishing the wood but it's a really tricky shade to match, a kind of red cedar/teak, so I wasn't sure how to match a small area without redoing the whole area, (which includes a full wall of panelling!) My next step was to call in the professionals or just give up and put a plant pot in front of it to hide the problem.Till I found this! It is wax which blends into the wood, but crucially also has a gentle staining effect to darken it. It took about 2 minutes of polishing this in to solve a problem that's been bugging me for 4 years! The dark pigment has covered the stain without being noticeably different to the varnish.I have included a before and after picture to show the problem and the result.Hopefully the effect will last as it dries over the next few days, but I'm happy to redo it if it wears off as I know it will look miles better afterwards. This product has saved me a lot of money and hassle rather than hiring a professional decorator, thank you!!

Not brown , more a red .
Not what I wanted ,on a pale ply wood ,when applied it was more a red hue not brown.

Care and quality of the product
When the tins arrived, they were discoloured/stained. On opening them it was clear that the wax polish inside had melted from being kept a) somewhere too hot b) been in the sun. Messy and not easy to use.Not good. The product itself is excellent, but storage care bad.
