I was expected less, and I'm happily surprised. Easy to fit it properly description, fast delivery .

I bought this to replace the under felt on an MX5. The closed cell foam meant it would not absorb moisture. It helped the sound deadening. I also used it to make a rear light gasket.

Very thin and very fragile. Very, very sticky, which is good right? But sticks to itself and tears very easily. This makes it hard to fit in tight spaces and very hard to make a neat job of it. Seems too thin to be effective at deadening sound in my camper. It might work by reducing resonance but too thin to stop transmitted sound (road noise etc.). Good value I guess, in that it is cheaper than equivalent products but doesn't seem very effective. Perhaps more expensive products are tougher, thus easier to work with but its the only one I have tried. I think carpet would work better.
