Vegan
I chose this product because, unlike fish based oil, not linked to arrhythmia. Also the PoP out capsules mean each tablet is fresh and not lumped together

Good-sized omega-3 softgels.
I recently saw an eye specialist for my eye test after suffering pain in my eyes for a week and they get tired so quickly. After the test optician said all fine and she suggested taking omega 3 for better eye health.Taking any kind of medicine for me is a big challenge for me as I am very bad at swallowing capsules. I always get them in powder form but for omega 3 I was forced to swallow them as it does not come in powder form and can't have them in oil form would give me a bad taste. The best thing about these omega-3 soft gels is they are small in size made me swallow them easily. In addition to that no aftertaste and did not affect my bowel movement. And can see good health benefits in my body since I have started taking them.Overall they seem to be good for my eye health and brain health.Recommended

Disappointing expiry date
Received 27/8/24 with an expiry date of 11/24. Very disappointed, especially since it was sold out recently.

Top brand, top quality omega 3
Efamol is a brand I trust and have used for nearly 3 decades now. I have been taking their oil of evening primrose since being recommended by a consultant, and I’ve never looked back. They are experts in essential fatty acids - this is not just some claim on the packaging, this is backed up by their history, science, and their well deserved reputation. If you’re looking out for Vegan Omega 3 (ie not from fish oils) you can’t go wrong with this. Here’s some of the things I appreciate about it:- They are made in the UK to high and verified standards.- They are made from natural sustainable algae.- The ingredients have no unnecessary extras or nasties. They are: DHA and EPA-rich oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp., Vegetarian Capsule Shell (Modified Corn Starch, Humectant (Glycerol), Carrageenan, Sodium Carbonate anhydrous)- The capsules are small and easy to swallow. No after taste at all.- The packaging is good and it states clearly everything you need to know - ingredients, dosage etc. (The advice is 2 tablets once a day, after food, with plenty of liquid.)- The capsules are in blister packs rather than a bottle, which I find convenient for travel or just for taking when out and about. I cut part of a strip off and keep it in my purse. Also hygienic, and good for the longevity of the oil quality.- It’s suitable for all the family - anyone over the age of 5.- This is not a mega-dose, this is easily within the safe limits for general health.- Mine have a good use by date - more than 18 months ahead.- Free from: Gluten, sugar, dairy &lactose, artificial flavours, colours and preservatives. Vegan friendly. One thing that isn’t clear from the product details is the exact level of Omega 3 and ratio of DHA and EPA. I’ve included a photo from the box, but I’ll write it here too, in case this is important to anyone:(Per daily dose of 2 capsules)Total Algal oil: 1000mgOmega 3: 550mgOf which:DHA: 300mgEPA: 150mgThere are so many health benefits to taking omega 3, and not everyone can or wants to eat 2-3 portions of oily fish per week. For anyone looking for a vegan or environmentally sound, sustainable source of Omega 3, I fully recommend this by Efamol. At the current price of £16.99 for 90 capsules, it’s probably not the cheapest, but for purity, reliability and quality I’d go with this every time.
