Ice Maker Fridge Installation Kit – 25' Feet x 3/8" OD Tubing for Appliance Water Line with Brass Stop Tee Connection and Valve for Quick Installation, 3/8" OD Fittings

The kit was very easy to install. The valve in this kit actually connects to both 1/2” and 3/8” fittings.Drilling may be required if there’s cabinets in between the water source and the appliance. I drilled holes through my cabinets and ran the tubing through to the water valve.Unfortunately, the kit doesn’t include teflon tape. It claims that it isn’t required but that’s risky. I recommend ordering some if you don’t have any already. It should be tightly wrapped around any ridges (on the new valve and the source connections) before installation. It’ll ensure no liquid can leak through the ridges.The tubing is thick and durable. It seems like it will hold up for a while. The length of the tubing was definitely longer than I required, but the excess was easily wound up and tucked behind the fridge.I’ve had no leaks and the ice tastes perfectly fine.

The product is great. Getting a new fridge on Monday with an ice maker saved me from calling a plumber. I am a middle age woman with limited handy skills and this was super easy to install.

was very easy to install. the only issue was my fridge connection was a 1/4 inch and not 3/8 so had to get a connection from hardware store

very good quality , all pieces fit well good price , used scissors to cut the supply line,added the shutoff valve to my supply line mounted on the back of the fridge. total install job -30 minutes
