Love the feeling it gives my hair. It cleans well and gets rid of any Oily hair you may have. It also seems it keeps hair feeling fresh for longer without oil. Good quality with a nice light scent. Seems to be very effective as a good scalp cleanse

Great for my fine, thin, oily-imbalanced hair; I don’t feel like I have to shampoo my hair every day!It has a nice and light, slightly spearmint-y scent and creates a nice, thick lather.

First off (and I hate to start off on a negative) this was shipped in a bag within a shipping bag. The shampoo was spilled all over the inside of both bags. I don't know if it got handled rough during shipping or if the bottle cap wasn't sealed well enough but it was a mess. Getting that out of the way, I'm reviewing this based on the product quality itself and not the shipping mess because I don't know where the fault sits.This shampoo is a medium viscosity, not being too thick or thin. It's concentrated enough that a little goes a long way. I won't be using a heap amount every time I wash my hair, and I have very thick hair, long hair. This can easily be used with a shampoo pump bottle if that's part of your bathroom decor setup. The shampoo lathers well but doesn't over-lather and rinses out thoroughly. My hair felt well rinsed, clean , and super soft. I don't use any hair products or coloring on my hair but I have very hard well water and oily straight hair. Regular shampoo is horrible for my hair and I have a hard time finding good shampoo in spite of my au-natural hair routine. This shampoo is amazing! It cleaned my hair so well that I couldn't tell that I had hard water and my hair was soft afterwards. I'm not meaning just a plain, conditioned type soft. I mean a wonderful baby-hair satin silk soft. I didn't need any conditioner (I don't use conditioner anyway) because it left my hair so smooth. When my hair had dried, it had a beautiful sheen. I was so impressed that I had my daughter's try it and they liked it very much too. (The smell is pleasant as well, imo.)

I like to use detox shampoos once a week or so to remove the oils and buildup from my hair, especially around the roots. I have oily hair and these shampoos really help bring it back to life after being weighed down by impurities, oil, buildup, etc.This shampoo does a great job removing build-up and leaves my hair squeaky clean after use. I have to follow up with a conditioner, though, or it's just way too drying. (not a big issue as I always use conditioner anyway) It isn't as stripping as many clarifying shampoos that I have tried. Some leave my hair so dry that my scalp is itchy!The shampoo lathers up well which is nice. I have long hair and only needed to use my typical amount of shampoo. It rinses out easily and completely.The fragrance is subtle and not at all overpowering. I think it has a fresh, herbal like scent.I was worried at first about the color of the shampoo as it definitely has a black hue to it. I have blonde hair so I was worried about it depositing color onto my hair. I had that happen with a purple shampoo that I tried years ago and it was so embarrassing! LOL No issues with this one!

This shampoo is as beautiful as it makes my hair. I love how the charcoal powder gives it a black pearl color. It does an excellent job clarifying my scalp and leaves my hair so clean. Has a bit of a cooling feeling when using, not sure what makes it do that, but it feels amazing!

The black from the charcoal is a little jarring at first but the shampoo works great. I have long, thicker, and a lot of hair and it hasn't been the same texture even 3y postpartum. The shampoo lathered really well and left my hair feeling clean but not squeaky dry. I did use conditioner after, so not sure how shiny my hair would be when used in its own The only downside is the packaging-- no seal.

I love that this shampoo is actually black to remind you of the charcoal: I haven't had a good black shampoo in a very long time. There is a pleasant herbal scent, and it lathers well. It seems fine: nothing bad nor stellar. I'll update if it seems to do a really good job later as I use this in a longer time frame. For now, a good product at a great price point---especially for a nice sized bottle from Italy!
