So I play nail tech and hair stylist at home AKA a DIY’r to save money. I swear I could open a mini spa with all the variations of products, kits, new and improved items, duplicates etc except I am missing the main need, a license to be able to do so. LOL These Makartt Extra Short Almond Nail Tips 360 PCS with UV Gel Nail Glue 20ML 100/180 Nail File, Pre-buffed nail well are great except if these are extra short than oh my what the H do the regular or super long look like? So for me these were not extra short so I still had to cut and file all of them which I really did not want to have to do but at least it was less filing than normal. They feel great on unlike the ones I would get in the salon when I used to get them done by a professional. There are plenty of sizes so anyone should be able to size their nails. I figure the ones that are too big I’ll use when I run low and just trim and file to use on my nails. Everything fits in the nail case which is great. One thing I would really love all nail tips and full coverage nail suppliers do is provide the case with separators for each nail size. I know some do. These Makartt full coverage nails are attached to an annoying plastic piece that scratches you and once you start taking nails off the rest still attached to the plastic do not sit nicely in the case. Also, the nails will just detach easily just handling the rack. So to me the tips are fabulous but are too long for “extra short” as said in the description. As for the gel nail glue I do not like it at all. Not saying it’s a bad product because I am not a professional so honestly what do I know? I do know that I like the hard glue that comes in a round I think 1 or 2oz container. It is a little easier to use and is much stronger and cures fabulously. This soft gel glue does not seem to fully cure for me. I’ve used too much, too little, the perfect amount and added on extra led curing time yet this glue remains very gummy. I do not know what I am doing wrong. I viewed a lot of YouTube videos, other reviewer videos/tips and tricks plus have gone to the companies tips and tricks etc. The glue does at times stick really well even though the nail is lifting and I am trying every technique I’ve learned about removal yet I cannot get 1/2 of it off. We’ll eventually I do but it takes time. I will not get this glue again but I did want to try it and I found this Makartt kit at a great price with the glue included. I don’t add nail art as of yet so as for nail art this glue will probably be great. Hope my review helped someone at least.

19 Days
I've been doing hard builder gel nails on myself for several months now. The process of using that was an all day, sometimes multi-day, process to get everything looking right. I wanted a more streamlined solution so I bought these.A little background: My nails are thin and weak. I can't stand traditional fake tips because they're very stiff and pull on my natural nails over time, making them sore after a while. I went the builder gel route because it was a way to get nice looking nails custom formed over my natural nail. I also prefer shorter nails for things such as typing, etc. These Makartt tips come in a variety of sizes. I didn't need to shape any at all before using them. I prepped my natural nails by lightly buffing them and then using IBD Dehydrate and IBD Bonder. Because my natural nails are more flat than curved, it was a little difficult getting the air bubbles out of the Makartt gel glue when putting on the tips. For this I'd recommend getting a UV light that has enough space to allow both of your hands to fit underneath it so you can hold the nail in place while the glue cures. I used a UV flashlight to start the curing process enough to keep the nail in place then finished the cure under a Gelish 18G.Some of the gel glue did seep out on the underside of the nail, but I used a nail drill to clean that up. Then I added a gel color and clear top coat and was done. No additional shaping or cleanup was needed. These tips are thin and flexible enough that my fingers aren't sore like they would be after using more traditional fake tips. They're also surprisingly sturdy and stayed adhered really well. After a couple of weeks I tidied up my cuticles and did a backfill with hard gel. A few days after that I finally had one separate from my natural nail, so there's the possibility that user error contributed to that.Overall I'm impressed with this product. Using them was much more quick and more streamlined than builder gel. They're more comfortable than acrylic tips. And they're pretty darn durable.

Very nice nails. Will buy again
These nails were great. Stayed on for over a week when I took them off. I used polish on them and the polish stayed on also. They were easy to shape. My new favorite nails

Love these but definitely small.
These are very strong and durable, have great shape and length, and they’ve become my go to when I do my nails; the sizes are quite small though. I have small hands and the size 0 just fits my thumbs. If you have small hands these will work great for you, if not though you might be better off looking for something else.

Magnifiche

Amazing nail system!
So I'll start by saying Im a qualified nail technician. I've previously used Aprés Gel X as my main gel nail system. Perfect for doing your own nails but sooo expensive and I found I'd always get issues with lifting. Saw these while browsing and thought I'd give them a try. Acrylic gives me migraines and I hate all the fuss when doing a set so these full cover gel nails are perfect for diy. Super easy process and I love it all comes in one box. The photos I took are after a week and a half. They have stayed put through a rather rough week. Slammed my nails a few times (don't recommend 😂) and they have stayed on. A few chips here and there but again due to my clumsiness. I would get help doing your non dominant hand as I had to redo a few fingers because they were wonky, not cute. Removal is easy just soak in some acetone and file off the excess.New favourite product, easy to follow, very affordable and length is perfect for me. Will be trying out other lengths too. Be very careful of heat spokes. If you feel it heating up when curing switch your UV lamp to a lower setting or flash cure twice then fully cure. Also I would recommend using a dehydrator and primer for maximum adhesion. Hope this helps!
