Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (Xbox 360)

Operation raccoon city. A game which has been slammed by critics and fans alike. Seriously this game is everything i expected it to be, a third person socom with zombies. The story is set in many well known locations such as raccoon city police department, hospital, cemetery, (the building in resi 3 with the guy who locks himself in a storage tanker.) the gameplay is fun and controls really well, the cover which people seem to hate iv had no problem with, the shooting mechanic is really good and the abilities can be pretty cool. The melee which everyone seems to complain at is really brutal an makes you feel badass however online it is easily spammed and does no damage at all, speaking of which online the heroes mode is rediculous the heroes are total bullet sponges which is just stupid they should have the same health as in any other multiplayer mode. People keep also saying that there is no atmosphere this is wrong just from the fact that every location you are in is very well known.This game is alot of fun, if you are thinking this is going to be like other resi games you ll be disappointed you should know what ur buying before you do so watch some youtube gameplay :) and if you get the game remember to turn the gamma in options on the game to full because then you can see everything, the really dark areas are still dark but know you can slightly see whats there.8/10

Firstly lets get this straight.Its NOTHING like a previous Resi game. Its not worse/ better. Its different. Its a change, and change is good.The controls are good, I just think that people are over reacting.The game is a little dark, however it is meant to be a darkly lit game... Its set at night...The graphics are good, and about the same good as Resident Evil 5; which had pretty amazing graphics, only really topped by games such as Gears Of War 3.The campaign isn't too short... About as long as most Resident Evil's campaigns, its longer than 5's, but shorter than 4's. But this is made up for in its multiplayer modes.The online is fun, quick paced and addictive, also its very much so "Noob" friendly, so you won't be loosing all of the time. Although I do recommend completing at least half of the campaign before playing online, the reason for this being is to gain some decent guns and abilities which could assist you.Over all I find that for a spin off Residet Evil game, its really worth it, at least it will definitely keep us entertained until 6 that is!9/10

Ok so i wasn't expecting a straight up resident evil game but i was looking forward to this release and the game clips that have been shown showed it to be awesome.Unfortunately its no way near as good as i thought it was going to be. Ok lets summarise some positives and negatives:Positives:Relive some of the storey line from the original resi series and experience combat in familiar settingsSome good cut scene videosFeel good factor when you destroy a horde of zombiesOn line player option for the campaignRange of weapons to chose from and some pretty good close combat fightingNegatives:Graphics are a lot to be desiredComputer AI is sooo dumb its gona make you wish you were working aloneBelow average plotGlitchy in places ( i had to restart a level numerous times because of something crashing or not working correctly like not being able to pick up a key card)No scare factor what so everAll the enemies effects look terrible, zombies have no detail and the lictors look like pink balloons with legsHardy any gore, if there is its too dark to noticeWhen an enemy character dies they turn into purple bubbles and disappear (strange i know!)Very limited close combat fighting in that you have like two moves to chose fromOverall i think for the die hard resi fans out there they will probably enjoy this game to a certain extent although perhaps feel a bit disappointed at the lack of effort that has gone into making this game. I cant help but feel that there was a lot more opportunity to be had with this title and ultimately it feels rushed and somewhat amateurish at best.Iv given it a 3 out of 5 because it is not totally without its fun parts but i only hope that the new resi to be released later this year isnt anything like this otherwise i feel the resi series of games has come to an end.But hey that's my opinion and im sure the die hard fans out there will slate my review but i dont think anyone out there who plays games regularly can say this is value for money.I wouldn't pay any more than £20 for this game so my advice is if you really want it then wait to amazon lower the price (which shouldn't be long as word gets out its not that good).If its zombies you want then check out zombie island, red dead redemption zombies, dead rising and left for dead.....i rest my case.

Now here is a game that has recieved many negative views, but despite this I watched the triple threat trailer and was hooked. Now that I have played the game I really enjoyedit, ok it is not original, but what is, the main thing for me is that it was enjoyable and my son and I had a real blast with this. Playing as U.S.S. Operatives was a nice twist, and then getting to play as the Spec Ops Field Unit (via DLC) was a nice addition. There are issues with the gameplay but all in all it was enjoyable from start to finish. Remember this is not Resident Evil 5 or Resident Evil 6, two games that I have also recently enjoyed playing, it is an extension of the Resident Evil universe with different game mechanics. Meeting the many characters from Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Nemesis games was a nice nod to fans of those games.

Game was advertised as sealed but came completely destroyed. The case had plastic missing making it not being able to be shut. In addition, the disc was loose and scratched up heavily. The product had the film on it so it must have been resealed.

Muchas criticas he visto de este juego. Por lo que a mi respecta me gusta bastante. Cierto es que no es el juego del año, pero al precio que está es muy buena inversión.Para mi el hecho de recorrer Racoon City por los callejones, es algo que no hacia desde los primeros Resident Evil. Y esas calles oscuras ya me merecen la pena.El online es bastante entretenido y para lo que me ha costado, doy por bien invertido el dinero.

Partendo dal fatto che questo capitolo è stato pensato per instillare nei giocatori la curiosità per un resident evil coop a 4 player, ovviamente non ci si può lamentare,ma se vogliamo essere onesti veramente ,dobbiamo solo dire che questo capitolo è stato creato per fare quattrini con il nome storico del brand.Tps nella media ,in modalità normale dura appena 5 ore(giocando pure con calma ),l'online abbandonato a se stesso ospita tra le sue file(parlo per esperienza su xbox 360) cheater di ogni tipo da quelli invulnerabili ad altri con armi deboli che one shottano.(su ps3 l'online dovrebbe essere down a causa della chiusura dei server gamespy,ma non ne sono sicuro)Se lo comprate per il multi PvP...be STATE LONTANI DA QUESTO TITOLO.Se lo comprate per il singolo è un titolo poco longevo che si lascia giocare con molta ignoranza intellettuale.

Pensaba que sería un poco menos intenso, como los demás residen, viene enfocado al juego online, sino no tiene mucho sentido.
