i'd give this a 5 star review but i'm a little concerned by the on / off switch. once on it works exactly as expected. mosquitos, moths and flies all inside. i still have to be on the look out for rogue mosquitos though and swat them. they are my nightmare when sleeping. all it takes is one working me over the whole night.

About three years ago we got infested with clothing moths. Ate a beautiful wool sweater my Wife knit and other items. We tossed the damaged stuff, washed everything from that closet in hot water and put out the sticky pheromone traps all over the house. Fast forward to this year and about 100 of those traps later and we were still seeing moths. I decided I needed to up our game and thought this type of trap might help the battle before I resort to pesticides indoors. I felt that nighttime would be the most effective use, so when I found these with the daylight sensor at the price point I was looking for (~$30) I went for it. All I can say is that I am impressed. It's like mice. When you hear/see one, it really means you have 10 or more running around your house. We are still waging the battle, but I bought a second for the downstairs.

I was skeptical, but this trap does the trick! The only complaint I have is the glue trap could be stickier. If flies are alive when you open the trap, they escape and you have to wait for them to be trapped again. Maybe I will get a different brand when I reorder the replacement glue traps. Overall, very pleased at how it eliminates pesky fruit flies!

Always skeptical, but since I got it, its been suckin and sticken. I would have given 5 stars, fan needs to be a little stronger... but hands down a frigging fruitflys worst nightmare...sucked in and stuck to the death pad. BTW real easy to change sticky pads, runs almost silent, good nightlight.

For weeks, I had gnats appearing in my home. Could not find out where they were coming from. After bombing the home and using other products with little success; I decided to use this product.Easy set up and after 3 days of use, I saw a tremendous decrease in gnats in my home. Great thing about this product verses similar products is the light sensor. At night, it runs with no continuously. Turn a light on or is daylight, and the device turns off. This option can be disable by just covering the light sensor and it will run 24/7. Great way to save on electronic bill if that is a concern.After using product for 1.5 weeks, not a gnat in sight. Great product for purchase. Quite running fan as well.

It has a very cheap motor (go figure for less than 20 bucks). It's not crazy loud as if something was wrong with it out of the box, I know motors well enough to know this ones just that way, so it has that mid-low buzzing noise. If your walking in your house at night (the suggest to use when other lights are off) your going to hear it if your in the same room. I like my motors to be silent.

This thing catches . I live by the river so I'm prone to get alot of flies and stuff . This thing works best at night . Turn off all the lights and leave this on . They will become attracted to it and fly in . I already replaced one sticky pad . So far I catch gnats , mosquitoes and even a fly . It catches anything that flies in . But the dust part is a bit rough to clean out , unless you have compressed air or something or a q tip . Gotta keep that entrance clean or you ain't catching anything. It's a 10/10 .

I purchased this after seeing way to many gnats in our apartment. I decided on Nontails product since it was more affordable than the other Insect fan catchers on Amazon. It's quiet and constantly catches gnats, mosquitos, moths and small flies. I had the bug zapper indoor light at first but returned it when I realized how it scared my furbaby from the loud zap noise. This thing is quiet and does the job. Everytime I change the sticky pad it's filled completely with small insects. I do have the clean the fan entrance occasionally as it gets dusty, which makes sense. This does not bother me. Great product and I highly recommend buying this insect UV LIGHT fan catcher!
