I am here today writing a review before replacing a product that I purchased, that was supposed to work just fine, and started out being pretty good but as time has gone along since July, the performance of the product has deteriorated to the point where I have to wait roughly an hour before it decides to show me the carplay screen and not the screen with its version number on it. It's unusable to me so I am going to throw it in the trash and replace it with another product from here that is more expensive and hopefully more reliable.I don't have time to waste as a delivery driver who's retired and on social security, I need a product that always works for me and my iPhone 14 Pro, delivers CarPlay information to me all the time I am in the car, and never stops working until I turn the car off.This product does NOT in my book deliver the performance I require.Thanks.

I am starting to think this is a scam.There is no way that anyone has ever been able to update the firmware with these instructions out of the box.Basically it tells you to link your wifi to the powered unit itself... but in doing so you are no longer connected to the internet - therefore you cannot download the update.Besides that. If you see the pictures the cable applied broke off within the first hour of receipt. My guess is that it is a proprietary cable as my other cables did not work with it.I crammed it back into place and it is turning on.Frustrated because I wasted so much time on this POS.It's going back. I absolutely couldn't recommend this.

I had one of the put in my Harley and it worked great, then I proceeded to order another one for my corvette and it wanted to hang up and disconnect everytime you went to change tracks. I sent it back and ordered again only two more times to I got one that worked.

I do love this product, my car has airplay but not support wireless airplay, with this accessory i don't need to have wire all over the inside of my car. i connect this to the usb port and hide it, so it looks clean, and my phone automatically connects, touchscreen works with no issue like normal. awesome product
