Worked for adapting a threaded Soda Sense canister to my Terra Sodastream
This worked well for me with a bit of finagling. I used it to attach a Soda Sense 60L Threaded Full Refillable CO2 Canister (so the knockoff one) to my Sodastream Terra machine.- I did have to remove the pink plastic piece at the bottom of the back of the Terra. Otherwise, the canister + adapter was too long to slide into place at an angle. I was able to remove it then put it back pretty easily.- the seal between the bottom of the adapter (part B in the little manual this comes with) and the CO2 canister itself needs to be airtight. At first I screwed it in to just be snug, and it leaked. Then I used a dish towel to get some traction and tightened it more and it stopped leaking. You can tighten this easier if you do it before you try to slot it into part A in the machine.

For E-Terra sodastream adapters
Picture #1 states it fits for all sodastreams. No it doesn’t. It will fit but then the co2 will not come out as it should. Pic #2 is the correct adapter. I bought co2 tanks that said they fit ALL sadastream machines. Well, no because it’s a screw on tank and my E-Terra is a quick connect. The bottles I bought are longer so I had to take the bottom of my machine off. That was a nightmare. But thank goodness to adapter in pic #2 is the correct adapter. The bottom still has to be off because the tank is too long but the adapter works perfect for my E-Terra. I can’t speak about other machines. But after much research, headache and so much wasted time I finally have the right adapter

worked for my Terra; you will need pliers
I can't imagine anyone putting this on correctly without using pliers. I have had it for 7 days now it and is working without leaks.1. Remove back plastic cover and old CO2 bottle2. Put the black gasket into the adaptor and slide the adaptor bottom part on3. Tighten this pink adaptor on the blue bottle by hand4. Tighten the pink adaptor with pliers (put a rag around it if you are afraid to scratch the finish)Note: I didn't measure but I would say about 1/4 turn , maybe a 1/2 turn did the trick5. Put the adapted bottle into the Soda Stream machine6. Leave the back cover of the Soda Stream OFF and press down to release CO2 and check for leaks from the back (you can put your hand close by to feel any air leaking; you can also just listen for it)7. Tighten some more if needed (I didn't need any more tightening)Note 1: I don't think it's possible to overtighten it as the metal to metal thread will bottom out anyway but as I stated: a quarter turn to about a half-turn should make it air-tightNote 2: With this adaptor installed on the Terra, it will take a bit more force to depress the gas button and also the button will not go down as far as it used to. But it works just fine.

Needs better upgrade but useful
It leaks and some how the fill pressure into the bottle isnt the same as others and leaves me with low carbonation even after 10 seconds pressed

Easy to install and works as advertised!
Highly recommended for anyone who bought a SodaStream model that requires the new proprietary CO2 cylinders! Directions said to cut out part of the base of our Art model, but it wasn't necessary. I just removed the screws from the base, pulled the base off, installed the adapter & CO2, and replaced the base & back cover. It all stays together when assembled - not even necessary to bother with the screws! See photos.

Works, but hard and dangerous setup
It works, but it’s not easy to set up tighten to not let gas escaping a bit. You’ll have to apply some strong hand force to close that screw

Never be without CO2 again.
I have the ART machine that uses the quick connect cylinders which for some reason aren't always available at the exchange locations near me. With this adapter I'm able to use the screw type when the quick connect units are out of stock. The ART machine's base will need to be modified to account for the additional height the adapter adds. I simply cut out the cylinder platform molded into the base to create the extra clearance needed when using the adapter. Quick connect cylinders still totally fit and work.I really dislike drinking still water and the HK Quick Adapter for CO2 Soda Water Bubbler for Terra/Art/DUO Sparkling Water Maker saves me a ton of time and frustration as I can now simply go to the closest exchange retailer and not have to worry if they'll have the right cylinder.Very happy with this purchase.

does not work well
I truly wanted this to work as we just got a new sodastream but I want to use the old blue cannisters. Once inserted (not the easiest thing to do nor would we want to deal with this every time we have to insert a new cyclinder), pressing the first fill button renders hardly any fiz. Button 3 not a whole lot better so it is leaking, so what is the point. Not sure who this is working for.......... returning.
