Scampi - enjoy horse racing as a racehorse owner for £96

I bought a share in Scampi on a whim, because I love horses and I'd heard from a work colleague that having a share in them meant you could go and visit them at the stables. I honestly was not expecting the amount of joy my modest investment has brought me. I am new to racing and I have learnt so much about the industry from passionate, knowledgeable people in the RaceShare community. I have had the opportunity to go to many races for free or discounted prices. I have visited my beautiful horse at his stable. I've met loads of important people in the industry. I've become part of a community of owners who talk on Facebook every day, who share knowledge and who are, on the whole, friendly, wonderful people. I can go to a race meet on my own and know that I will be met there with open arms. Scampi has done brilliantly for us this season so it's been an amazing journey to go on with the emotional investment I have in him. RaceShare themselves are a fantastic syndicate; so responsive, friendly and accessible, always keeping us updated, looking after us on the track, and providing us with online Race Time shows whenever the horses run if we can't make it to the track, plus a monthly owners show hosted by the brilliant Ross Brierley and Oli Bell. I am constantly blown away with how hard they work for us given the modest number of staff they have. Honestly, I feel like signing up to a share in Scampi has unlocked a whole new aspect of life for me, one which I am embracing wholeheartedly. Long may it continue. This is a great idea, I bought a share for my best mate who goes racing a couple of times a year and he loves it. Lots of updates and great fun.
