I prefer washclothes with no binding on the sides like towels have. They are very difficult to find. These are not heavy duty plush, but are thicker and softer than other washcloths I find in packs at discount stores. They are just a blank cloth - no decorative woven section. As well, I have shown a picture from the first wash with threads starting to come undone. This was a concern of mine, but i did not expect mega high quality. Recently, I have not found washcloths without the binding that hold up to washing. I know that is probably one reason companies have stopped making washclothes this way. Of course, I have some 20 year old ones that are fine. Unfortunately, things are not made as well as they used to be.

These were purchased as part of a theme for table decorations at a party. They were used as washcloths and we included pretty little snowflake-shaped soaps (it was January and the theme was about being washed whiter than snow). So, I didn't want to spend a bunch of money, and figured they could be used as cleaning rags.However, they're much better quality than I expected, so will use them as washcloths until the hems unravel (they're starting to after third wash). They're very soft, are evenly cut, hemmed with just a loose handkerchief stitch. If the edges were properly finished, they would be worth a lot more.For a package of eight cheap washcloths, this is a good buy.

perfect weight and size and price and value!

Obviously, you get what you pay for, but in this case I wish I hadn't bothered, I could have gotten better washcloths at my local Dollar store. They are small, thin, and cheaply made.

These inexpensive washcloths are surprisingly well-made 100% cotton looped terry, and arrived just as pictured. I bought them because the washcloths that match my thick, premium towel sets are just too unwieldy and difficult to manipulate (especially for smaller hands). These are densely woven but thin enough to do the job properly and easily, and instead of folded over and stitched hems, the edges are simply over-stitched, which eliminates extra bulk. And very importantly to me, they provide just the right amount of exfoliation -- not too rough, but not uselessly soft, either. I've had similar washcloths for many years that are only just now beginning to show their age, and I couldn't find a suitable replacement in any local stores, so was very happy to find these through Amazon. They're a perfect replacement, and I expect them to last for just as many years and through many hot-water washings.

they are thin, inexpensive white washcloths. they are not terribly durable. they are not terribly soft. If you've ever seen those dormitory catalogs that have washcloths and towels and bedsheets, this is basically the same thing. Works great as a general purpose rag/washcloth, but dont try using it on scratchable surfaces (glass, gloss plastic, eyeglasses, car paint)

I'm very happy with these. They're not so soft they're slimy and not so course they're scratchy. They're not so thin they're threadbare and not so thick that I can't feel what I'm doing. They also don't have that band of different weave that shrinks at a different rate than the rest of the rag (why do so many washrags have that anyway! - What's its purpose?!). They don't have a thick hem that makes them stack crooked. Stack as many as you want and they're perfectly level.I've had them for a few weeks and none of the hems have come loose, as some others have commented. But even if some of them do, they're perfect enough and inexpensive enough that I won't mind just buying some more!These are exactly what I was looking for.

I expected these washcloths to be a bit thicker…not too thick, but not thin! These are pretty thin, and although I thought of sending them back, decided it wasn't worth the trouble. Wouldn't recommend.
