Initially satisfied, got it early January, it's April 7th and the buckle clasp broke. Now useless and have to buy another.. wouldn't recommend..

This pronged collar is lighter in weight than other pronged collars I have used in the past. This is not necessarily a bad thing, I will just be keeping an eye on it for sturdiness. I do like that the prong tip covers are just a bit longer than most, which seem to help them stay on better. They definitely are not near as prone to get tangled in my dogs longer hair.I do wish the quick release was a bit larger. It’s small enough to be a bit fiddly when opening, or closing. Especially on a large wiggly dog.

I haven't used it yet but the quality of materials and workmanship are great. I like the buckle feature for ease of putting it in and taking it off the dog without having to worry about accidentally poking out an eye.

I had the collar for less than 6 months when the clasp broke. Looking closely, the part of the clasp that actually locks it in place is very unsubstantial for holding a 100 lb dog. Additionally, although not affecting performance, the black finish was wearing off rapidly, you can see that in the picture too... all of the links and chain had about 50% of the finish wore off after only 6 months of use. I contacted the seller thru Amazon and they said, no problem and would ship me a new one. Well, it's been 2 months and NOTHING. They obviously lied to me. I've decided it's not worth continued follow up with them, as I no longer feel safe using this on my dog, since it will probably break again and what if that happened when we are in a high traffic situation. Luckily when this broke we had just returned home and were heading to the gate, so no unsafe situation happened. I would advise to look for something built better, your dogs life may depend on it. I'm so tired off all this junk product from China!

First the bad. The plastic covers on the prongs fall off every time you hook up the dog. But the prongs are not sharp, so the plastic covers aren't even needed. That said, the rest is great. You can remove and add prongs with just enough effort for fit. The best thing, and I haven't seen these before, is the lock/unlock clasp so you don't have to hook and unhook prongs all the time.Works great on my 15 yr old, 18lb miniature poodle....Just kidding. A 7 month old female German Shepherd puppy at 55lbs. A highly recommended product.

I still have this prong collar and we use it every day. It works easily and has a slide lock to keep it from accidently coming off. Easy to install or remove additional prongs to fit your dogs neck. I would def buy this product again!

The clasp/snap has broken on 2 collars I ordered. The collars are only used twice a day for walks. I was hoping to find replacement clasp.

This would have been a 5 star review if I had done it right away. It was recommended by our trainer. However, the links have disconnected twice. Fortunately our dog did not escape but that was miraculous. Once he’s loose, he just keeps on going!
