Hi, it’s Glamorous Gem, hope you all are having a wonderful day,Anyway, I have used skin peels before like this, but the texture and cleansing method was a bit different.This one is a more basic mask. It actually peels off rather than rinse off after you apply it. This mask is definitely thicker than others I have tried and it was a bit difficult to apply, so I wasn’t surprised that it felt like pulling bandages off your face. So, I actually ended up just using warm water to rinse it off at the end despite it taking a bit more time. It was less painful and easier for me.I do like the ingredients though and it did cleanse off well despite everything. It also made my skin feel very good after using. But, you do have to be cautious with products like these because they can cause irritation. So, every once in a while is good and I wouldn’t recommend using it too much for sensitive skin users.PS: No matter the nature, I only write honest, unbiased, and authentic reviews. The consistency of the mask is just right, neither too thick nor too runny, which makes it easy to spread evenly on the face. I wanted to like this mask, but got no blackhead-removing effect. Gets 2 stars for leaving my skin smooth and soft feeling after use.- The instructions are poorly written. It says something about using a warm cloth to apply the mask and open pores. This really needs to be rewritten to say "Wet a warm cloth in hot water and apply to face to open pores, before applying the mask." The current wording where they sort of tell you to use a cloth to apply the mask, makes no sense and would never apply the product evenly enough to peel off easily.- The instructions also say to apply to nose, rather than the whole face.- I applied with my finger to my nose area as well as my chin area. I tried to apply evenly but despite my efforts it feathered a bit at all the edges. The less feathering and more even the application, the easier it is to cleanly peel off later.- I did not try to wash off what was left on my finger - instead I allowed it to dry with the rest and peeled off afterwards.- After application, you wait 15-20 minutes for the mask to dry before peeling off. There's a learning curve to how thickly to apply - too much will mean it won't dry completely and only the topmost layer will peel off, leaving some still damp mask behind on your skin. I found it easiest to gently rub any remaining spots off with a dry tissue, which helped to contain the bits of dried mask from these small areas.- Regardless of how thickly I applied the mask, when I peeled it off it did not remove any blackheads. The product videos show this working almost like a pore strip and I did not see that effect. In fact, when I peeled away the mask, the mask had tiny holes everywhere my pores would have been, while leaving nothing on my skin. Very strange.- I did feel like my skin was soft and smooth after use, just no effect on the pores.

I do like this charcoal peel-off mask, but I felt like I had to use a lot of it to get an even layer on my face. The directions said to use an "appropriate" amount. I would have liked for this to be more specific, like a "quarter sized amount" or something similar. I'm sure I used too much, but I felt like I had to to cover my whole face.I do recommend opening your pores with a warm cloth first, and avoiding your eyebrow area. It hurts trying to remove it if you get it in your hair. As far as cleaning, I think this mask does an okay job. My face felt clean, but I wasn't wowed.

The instructions on the tube, recommend spreading on your face with a cloth. I started to do that, and it was a little difficult to get a nice even coat on my face. So I also tried with my fingers, and I felt like I got a much more even application. I probably ruined the cloth that I used for this product because it is black and tar like. It reminds me of fix a flat for tires.The product dried and peeled off of my face as it does in the photos and you can also remove it with a damp cloth. I have to say pulling it off hurt my skin a little bit, but it wasn’t intolerable.There are no miracles being performed with this mask, but I think it probably cleaned out my pores a bit. I don’t think it was any better than any other mask I’ve tried. If things get better as I use it more, I will update my review. I will also let you know if my rag comes clean, which I doubt.

It was light with the type of smell that doesn’t bother me. It felt refreshing afterwards. Easy to use.
