I had not heard of the FAIRSKY company before. After some research, it appears they have been in business for over 20 years in China and focused exclusively on the supply of sausage casings...the manufacturer even has an English-language website with much additional information.Company aside, the collagen casing I received was exactly as promised. It arrived in a transparent vacuum-sealed bag in a dried state (about .75" x 9.5"). Following the manufacturer's instructions, I soaked to casing in water until it became soft and more pliable. The casing was easy to work with and fill using a KitchenAid stuffer attachment. While the 3/4 inch diameter is somewhat smaller than my typical sausages, the FAIRSKY casing had no issues (ripping etc) and I could easily fill ~6 lbs of delicious meat. After grilling some test sausages, the collagen casing was snappy and produced no off-putting flavors or textures. Overall, a good casing option that I will add to my repertoire.

The package doesn’t list the ingredients! It’s illegal to sale products without disclosing the complete list of ingredients. It says however hog casing but at the same time Halal!!! Either dishonest or ignorant manufacturer. Strong reasons to rate this low and Amazon should take this product out!!!!

I ordered these casings to make some homemade sausage, since my MIL claims to not like sausage because she doesn't know what's in it, yet takes collagen supplements and eats pork and beef and chicken but won't touch organ meats. With all that, it seemed a fair guess that if I ground and spiced the meat myself, where she could see exactly what had gone into it, she might actually like them.I placed the roll on the tube attachment for my KitchenAid before soaking it, then ran the already-mixed meat and spices back through the grinder/stuffer with the coarse grate in it to fill these casings. My partner helped with keeping the stuffer filled while I focused on twisting the sausages. And my MIL actually liked them.

I got these collagen sausage casings to go with my very new sausage stuffing machine. The casings themselves come vacuum sealed in a long tube and it looks like it wouldn't even be very much. However after you open them and hydrate them in water they look like normal regular sausage casings, they were easy to stuff, very little breakage when stuffing them and the taste was great. I would recommend this product to other sausage lovers across the globe!

Need to softened up with water before use make it easier to load and more on the funnel. Resistance to tear is not superior than dry loading kind of casing. Taste and chew about the same as others. But pricier than others. Will buy again only if they pack in larger quantity to bring unit price down.

I bought these for smoking season. I was looking to get something that I could use for sausage making and these worked well. You have to soak the casings for a bit of time – I did for about 5 minutes. They fit easy on the KitchenAid's sausage stuffing item; they stretched rather well. It was my first time, so I had a bit of issue with filling up the sausage casing completely right; but was able to fix it by squeezing the sausage makings around. We cooked them and they worked well – they were not rubbery at all and no taste coming from them.

junk waste of money several blow outs cooked some casing fell apart during frying better off sticking to lamb casings guess if it isn't broke dont fix it dont recommend to anyone.
