Was a little disappointed in this particular model due to the pole length. Apparently, these poles are shorter than in other models and so we were expecting it to be like our friends but was disappointed to find out it was not. Due to the shorter pole length, it was very low to the ground and so only the children could stand up underneath it. The picture is definitely misleading, giving the appearance of having a lot of headroom, but you need longer poles to achieve that type of clearance. Also, it would have been nice to have some installation instructions included with it. Not sure if it was supposed to have them and was just a fluke that it didn't but regardless, we were stuck with poor reception trying to google a video for it. The positives are it is very lightweight and compact making it easy to carry. The material is soft and airy yet seems very durable, and if I had longer poles I would have been totally satisfied with the sun protection it provided.

I thought this would be lighter and easier to set up than the traditional shade tens but we set it up once for about 10 minutes and never used it the rest of the week. I bought it over a month before our trip so I can't return it but I would if I could

What's Good: it's billed as being light weight, which it is. Easily transported, I even packed it in my checked luggage on the plane. Not so good: it's difficult to set up. It was not at all easy to figure out how to set up at the beach and no printed directions were provided. It's next to impossible to set up without help. You have to have the tension on the counter weight exactly right and exactly at the correct angle. Also Not So Good: it will not stay up in more than even a slight breeze. Also the poles are easily extended and collapsed, but seem rather flimsy. I've only used it twice and they already seem to be warping. I ordered it right before a trip to Florida and I may send it back after our vacation, haven't decided.

We watched a video which helped but there was no directions. We laid the cover out flat . Filled bags with sand. The more the better. Raised poles at a slant and pulled bags to counter weight. It’s still standing!

Gave shade when we needed it.

Unfortunately, with the wind at the beach, the tent didn’t stay up for long periods of time. And the height was a lot shorter than anticipated

It was hard to put up and won’t stay in place.
