Ikea 902.432.97 Lack TV Stand, Black, 35-3/8 Inches

This was pretty good and better than expected, but don't use it for very big hefty TVs. I'd go for tempered glass for those.A few people said theirs was plastic and lightweight, but mine was plastic coated strong-ish wood pulp like MDF and had a medium weight to it, and quite stable if you build it correctly. The only issue I had was to screw in the legs and shelf screws you need some elbow grease, which might be difficult for some people. An electric screwdriver would be ideal here.I put a 40-in TV on mine and it just goes over the sides, but the stand is narrower and fine. I put my old TV as it I got a new one, so I thought I'd try this one in the spare room. It's a small room so you don't want a big stand jutting out, so this fits nicely near the wall, which is the primary benefit of a shallow stand, as most are much deeper.It's worth mentioning that if you have a skirting board, you won't be able to attach the retainer safety bracket screw very easily, so I didn't use mine. The retainer screw is to stop the stand falling forward for safety. My advice is to simply put the TV slightly towards the wall, so if you do knock it hard it's more likely going to go towards the wall then the the table tip toward the floor. If you have kids, you do need to retain it somehow really, so you could tie a string or wire to the bracket instead across the gap. But if you bump into any TV hard, it's going to come down or funny stand unless you retain the TV too! If so, I recommend you put the TV in the corner on a corner stand so you can't bump into it as easily.All in, this looks good with other black furniture, or a black TV, although it's made of cheaper squared off looking material so check your decor.Finally, yes it is £9 at IKEA, but they charge £15 delivery. So if you're paying under £24, still it's cheaper unless you drive over there, but all my local stores didn't have it in stock anyway. I paid £17 for mine here and happy.

I had been meaning to go to Ikea to fetch this table but never got round to it because of ‘Covid living’. The Ikea price is crazy cheap and this seller is charging less to deliver it than Ikea so I am very grateful to them for making this so easy for me. The table is perfect as a tv bench or similar, typical Ikea type MDF flat pack furniture with a robust “plastic” paint finish which looks like it will dust and wipe clean easily. Easy assembly and looks and feels good and sturdy. Also, it was delivered in 3 days which was much sooner than the estimate. Very happy to recommend on all counts.

Good quality especially for the price and easy to install. I was worried whether it would be stable enough to hold a 38 inch TV as it is a small narrow stand (26cm depth) . The stand does come with fixings to fit to the wall because of this. However, I have not used the fixings as the stand is very stable without them, as the stand also looks good I would highly recommend. Buy from Amazon rather than direct from Ikea, the service from Ikea is terrible and they want to charge you £5 for picking the stand up! I cancelled my Ikea order when it just sat on their web site for days saying they would inform me when to pick up . It worked out only £3 dearer and they delivered to my door.

I really like this little TV bench. It’s easy to assemble and sits nicely in a convenient corner in my living room. Suits my TV in particular just perfect. Pleased with my purchase and would recommend as it’s a good price too!

For 17 quid this is an absolute bargain. Okay it's light weight but goes together well and feels solid enough. It's simple in design and doesn't look anywhere near as cheap as it is. I'd considered all sorts of far pricier options, took a punt on this and really happy I did.

It's a proper Ikea product and it's very easy to assemble if you have the right tools. The price was pretty good and i really needed something small where I could put my TV. The instructions were very very easy to follow, and it didn't take me more than 20 minutes to set it up.The only two problems I found are the quality of the product and the sturdiness. After I assembled it, I was afraid that the tv was going to fall, despite I know I assembled it correctly. However this was just a wrong impression. It stands correctly. The second small problem is the quality. It's ok for what I was looking for but it's not the best tv table I have ever seen.

It's great and good value for money for my 43". It's sturdy, but I'd say it's quite annoying they don't already add holes for the table legs, but other than that great product.

It was easy to put together, although I didn't add the shelf part. I wanted it to be really simple-looking and slim. I love it to death. It is ideal.
