Minky IH85590100V Extra Wide 3 Tier Airer, Metal, Silver, 18 m

This is the second one of these I have bought. This one is for my mum. Mine has been in almost daily use for years with no signs of wear. This style is much better than the newer style where the blue hooks fold in and out. My mum also has the newer model and the hooks don't feel very strong at all. This model you have holes in the four corners where the clothes hangers slot in. Metal tipped hangers are best as some of the plastic hangers don't easily fit in the hole. You can hang a double sheet or duvet cover on these with ease. The bars are quite thin wire so it's best used for bedding, towels, lycra wear etc. I would imagine you would get a line mark across heavy cotton clothes unless they are hung on one of the six thicker outside bars or on clothes hangers of course. In all a really good clothes horse.

Very pleased with this Clothes Airer. Arrived next day packaged in a plastic bag, easy to put up and down when needed. Glad I ordered the wide option. I can fit a full load of washing on the Airer. Obviously you need to distribute items over it sensibly but it feels stable. Wouldn’t attempt to move it far once clothes are on but it is sturdy enough to move around slightly to reposition in front of a radiator.All wires were smooth and will not snag clothes. In all very happy and would recommend.

My younger brother had broken his last clothes horse and was continuing to “hang” all of his clothes on a heap on the squint, half collapsed dryer than was probably as old as him.I have owned one of these for the past 6 years and I love it. I know that’s quite a strong emotion to have for a drying rack but it’s just so good!It’s super sturdy and I never have to worry about it collapsing on my head or trapping my fingers. Yes it is a little more spenny than others, but it really is a good dryer. The next step up from this is one of those fancy heated ones but I’m just not quite rich enough for that yet.

The airer is a good solid product. It is easy to erect. The problem is folding it up when you are finished with it. There are two catches, one each side, that need to be disengaged to fold it up. When you disengage the second one it collapses suddenly under its own weight. There is the risk of trapping you fingers.

There is a good amount of space on the hanger, and the corner parts fold out for socks and underwear which is very useful. It's very solid and locks very well.

There is nothing to dislike about this product.It's tall and wide and does exactly what I wanted and needed.A very good, product without breaking the bank.Highly recommended.

The width is great. The strength not so great. As it so wide, it could have done with another length of metal on it to stiffen it a bit. Its great, though, for mens tshirts, jumpers etc...

L'ÉTENDOIR. Je suis fan. J'apprécie sa forme et sa largeur. On peut étendre plusieurs pièces sur une largeur et il y a de l'espace entre les vêtements. Pour la première fois, j'ai plaisir à étendre mon linge !

I’m a bit of a Minky nerd, this is my third Minky airer over the past 14 years, so they have tended to last 7 years, until finally breaking in the plastic latch, but I am happy with the durability. You can buy replacement latches, but sadly not have them delivered to my country. Minky has been with me from being a 1-person household to a 4-people family, and the capacity has been sufficient all along.My past two Minkys have been standard size, and unfortunately I didn’t pay too much attention to the size of this one which is the wide version. I bought it because it was the only version eligible for delivery to my country. To me the whole unique value of a Minky is that it fits neatly next to the washing machine, but this one does not and sticks out into the room. Secondly, it is also slightly higher, and yes our bathroom was designed with the height of our old Minky airer in mind, so this wide version does not fit under our wall cupboard and as a consequence takes up a lot more floor space in the bathroom.Is there any value in it being wider? Well yes, even though there are fewer wires it overall fits more clothes, but this just means it is typically 75% full, where the standard size could usually exactly fit a full regular wash. If you wash only shirts for the football team though, you will actually be able to fit fewer shirts, since each wire can still fit only one shirt and there are fewer wires. Generally though, the extra space is a plus if you have the space to store the rack when folded.On the picture you can see I have transferred the corner protection with extendable hooks from the plus model to this one, and it fits very nicely.All in all I can’t fault the quality and design of this model if you’re looking for a drying rack that takes quite little floor space compared to the amount of clothes it can dry, but personally I regret not thinking through the measurements and find a way to buy the standard size model.

Grande, fuerte, con mucho espacio para las ropas, y con un buen precio. Minky es una marca muy buena. Contentísima.

llego muy tarde ! La peor calidad pero muy ancho que yo necesito para la ropa de la cama. Las barras son endebles. Dos se doblan. No se recomiendo.
