JetStyle LED Emblem for 2011-2020, Front Car Grille Badge, Illuminated Logo Hood Star DRL, White Light - Drive Brighter

I just got mine today in the mail...very nicely packaged against damage in transit!With all the merchants selling the (almost) exact same item, I took a chance and paid a few dollars more for JetStyle's LED emblem for my 2016 E350 sedan. Hookup was EASY, after looking at the various YouTube videos all over the net...took me less than an hour (and that was only because I wanted to route the wiring from the emblem neatly, but it would have been nice to have about 12 inches more wire length). I did a "pre-test" hookup before finalizing the permanent connection, and started smiling when the emblem had a soft "glow" with power connected. Of course it FIT like a glove, and after wiring it in the final connection points (fuse block & ground), the moment I was waiting for had arrived... The headlights AND LED emblem came on with keyless entry, and dimmed when entering the vehicle (that's exactly what I was hoping for). Once I started the vehicle, the emblem came to LIFE, and looks BEAUTIFUL!!! There's just enough "glow" on the emblem, to blend in with the headlights without either one overpowering the other. Tried using the key to unlock the door, and the lights and emblem did their stuff...looking GOOD!!! One thing that I noticed, was that the emblem doesn't turn off for about 20-30 secs after exiting and locking the vehicle...that's no big deal, since it's tied into the lighting on/off system. My neighbors think it's really COOL, and it DOES get noticed by other MB owners that haven't made the move to get one for their vehicle model (if available). SEEING the MB emblem lit up in person on my vehicle, one can appreciate the "beauty" and sense of "style" it will bring to YOUR "Benz"... Thanks JetStyle!

Excellent product. The price definitely beat the nearly $400.00 dealership price for the star and the additional $500.00 for installation and parts! I found an independent Benz specialist shop that installed it for $200.00 plus $10.00 for a fuse plug adapter that wasn’t included. It’s MUCH brighter than I expected! Fit perfectly on my 2013 CLS550. Only drawback is no included instructions for do it your selfers, or the additional plug adapter needed to plug into fuse box.

This was one of the easiest installs I've ever done. Most of the work was just me trying to do a pretty job, nice and clean. I used the #9 fuse location because it is linked to the cigarette lighter and only comes on when the ignition is activated. Using #23 or #24 locations will cause the LED to come on and off intermittently while the vehicle is parked and in the off position.The quality of this product is A+! Very happy!

I had been thinking about adding the illuminated star for a few months but thought it might be beyond my mechanical capability.Finally I researched how to remove the existing Star. Turned out I had a twist unit and after adding a little torque, it came out just fine.I then ordered the new illuminated unit.While I waited, I downloaded a fuse box diagram and decided the #29 fuse (headlight) would be the one I would tap.After locating the underhood fuse box near the firewall on the driverside, I did a dry run on removing the lid and locating an entry point for the wire.This morning The new unit arrived. I had my wire ties, cutters and wrench ready to go.After unpacking the box, I realized there are no real written directions to go by, but after reading all the other comments on Amazon, I felt confident I could complete the task.I removed the old star and installed the new one....about 5 minutes. I then snaked the wire to the fuse box, using wire ties to attach to another wire on the same path.....10 minutes.I opened the fuse box clamps and removed the lid...1 minute. I located a ground post near the fuse box and removed the nut. I then cut the black wire to size and stipped the insulation so I could rap it around the ground post and tighten the nut...7 minutes. I then located and removed the #29 fuse and attached the red lead from the star light to one leg of the fuse and reinserted it into it's holder... 7 minutes.I turned on the headlights and the star illuminated.I reinstalled the fuse box cover.All in all, for a novis, it took me about 25 minutes.I absolutely love the look.

Emblem quality: 3.5 stars.Wiring harness quality: 1.5 stars.Value for money for a non OEM part: 1 star.Here is why:-No matter what model you vehicle is, you’ll need more than what this set comes with. You’ll need a 5amp mini fuse, fuse connector and a ground connector, I don’t see why wouldn’t the seller include these pieces.- The positive and ground wires are connected (wrapped in one wire), in most cases, you’ll need to separate them as they don’t go to the same destination (mercedes main grounding bolt is on the passenger side while the fuse box is on the driver side).- The wires are definitely connecting to the fuse and the ground, why not prewire the connectors to the harness? If not, why not add the connectors and buyers would connect it.-5 amp mini ATB fuse (in my case) was a must, why not add it? Why not add all possible fuses with the set? An assortment fuse box is less than $6, your margins wouldn’t suffer.- I am a total novice and I still managed to do it on my own after hours of searching.- I would never recommend this, I learnt a lot and it looks AMAZING installed, however, there are other non OEM emblems that are cheaper and have VERY similar quality and with proper wiring. (OEM harness is $70 on ebay and another non OEM emblems are around $40-$50 on amazon) better than $100 non-complete set.- It comes with a useless car scent thingy and a homegoods (literally) plate to protect the emblem (which is a good, non well thought thing).

Nice look. But not long enough wire for grounding. Also missing terminals. I had to buy those. Bit overpriced. But nice result. Very good seller. Great communication

Awesome item, fairly simple to install, the wiring could be a little better, but overall a great item.
