Rand McNally 2024 Road Atlas: United States, Canada, Mexico: 100th Anniversary (Rand McNally Road Atlas: United States, Canada, Mexico)

I remember as a kid, driving with my parents and reading this with my brothers in the old family station wagon. I have the most advanced navigation in my car which talks to me from the touch screen. However, I always look at this to see visually where I need to go when we're on a long trip. I'm probably dating myself, but if you can't read a map then you shouldn't be on road. I use this to see where I need to go and visually understand how to get there. Certainly helps with road construction or an accident and traffic is diverted. My car navigation sometimes is wrong. Wonderful product.

We’ve been traveling with a Rand McNally Road Atlas for decades. I know…Google maps, internet etc. and we utilize those tools too! But we like the paper atlas on board every trip we take! We had to purchase a different brand once and we’re not happy with the print/layout! Anniversary addition is a bonus!

Purchased for traveling around my state. Always loved reading maps and always purchased Rand McNally maps. GPS good but hand held map exciting.

Call me old school but I always carry one of these in the car just in case. I do a lot of 2000 mile plus road trips. Of course I have onboard GPS, a free standing GPS and my phone...but if all else fails you better be able to read a road map like us old men !! Nice map book, some good history in the beginning of this Anniversary Edition. If GPS ever goes down you'll wish you had one.

I love this Road Atlas. In this modern day electronic maps are OK but sometimes I need to see the whole country at once and the small screens just don't do it. Great atlas to put in the car and hit the road!

You may need to carry a magnifying glass in your car because the font is small.

I know GPS is the latest form of travel, however; we do like using the atlas on our long distance trips too! We just traveled from Indiana to Texas and back, and used our atlas. Of course, we are in our 70's, which may make a difference also!

Highlight all my rv travels in it!

I hadn't purchased a new road atlas for a long long time. This new edition is excellent. It meets all the expectations and more. Nice maps with many detailed city maps. The special features of this edition are really nice. A worthwhile purchase for those who drive long distances frequently.
