This fan works well, it's smaller than other neck fans I have bought and couldn't help thinking that it wouldn't be comfortable for a larger person. A bit noisy, but you get used to it. The fan blows a nice, strong wind and really helps keep you cool. I work outside and this is a must in the summer heat.

We have 2 different types and this one sucked! Can hardly feel the air. We returned it!

I agreed with the earlier reviews stating one side stops working . 2 years ago not the case , so I always kept a spare . As i loved it . I am a professional gardener . With it, kept me cooler , less sweat and more tolerant of hot weather . I would just return it when it broke and get another one .I wear it outside.This replacement is far inferior , too loud , not as powerful and 1/2 battery life.Sadly I will not order again . Nor recommend it
