Good but some quirks
Arrived promptly, looks good and seems to work well. US plug PSU supplied and no plug adapter present. There is some lack of clarity on reddit as to whether the internal hygrometer works, I have not managed to double check it but numbers look reasonable, given that there is no fan, no active extraction of moisture. Handle with care, closing the unit requires gentle touch. Will see how it performs in the long run.

Seems okay but not sure about some things
This is my first filament dryer as I only bought my first 3D printer a couple of weeks back. I have a hydrometer in my office and sometimes it has reach 70% which I know is not good for the PETG, TPU and PLA filaments I have been using. The reason I bought primarily for the TPU I wanted to experiment with.I did also pay more than some of the other options as it had a large screen, was small considering and you could actually choose the filament that you are trying to dry. I know this information is out there with other dryers but I wanted the easy life and just selecting the filament I am putting in it without having to reference the preferred end dry point for each type of filament appealed to me.Currently, I have some black TPU in the dryer and it's been there for an hour or so. The internal hydrometer is telling me that the ambient reading inside the machine is at 58%. My room hydrometer (these are not expensive scientific level devices) reads 57%.This is where I get confused. On opening the cover on the dryer, that percentage quickly drops (in to the late 40's) which suggests that the internal fan is not clearing the moisture in to the room as quickly as simply opening the lid. Is this normal and acceptable? I honestly don't know but it's the reason I have marked it down to a four star. Everything else is impressive so far. Easy to read screen with a good selection of options to tailor if you so wished. Drying the filament out quicker by opening the door? Well, I think that shows maybe a short coming in the fan that is supposed to evacuate the moisture. Dunno. So far, kind of impressed, other than the price which was nearly £50 for a single filament dryer. The heaters almost surround the whole filament roll which cannot be a bad thing. Would I buy another one? Maybe, but I need to leave it for longer to see if the fan can remove the internal moisture in the air as quick as I think it should. If it gets any worse, or better I will update this review. So far.. It does work. Work well? still trying to figure that out but it does work

Still says 2023 model on packaging, but sounds like it has a fan?
Originally upset that this appeared to be the original fan-less S2, but on using it, it sounds like it has a fan. Seems to work so far, but hesitant to comment on how accurate the temperature or hygrometer is,

IT DOESN'T WORK
I bought this dryer to keep PETG stable during the printing process having got the RH down to a suitable level. What a waste of moneyBrand new reel of PETG from eSun - opened it up and stuck it straight on the dryer with the internal presets for PETG selected. The RH went UP ! it has been running for 3 hours and is still showing 55% RH.I strongly suspect that the sensor in the unit is defective. This is the second roll of PETG I have tried with this - after 4 hours the RH level remained at 36% when it should be stabilising at a max of 20%.I get better results with a drybox with silica crystals

Poor design
This centre of gravity is high when put a roll of filament which makes it very unstable and full over in the middle of print. The filament holes are on the top the lid make it difficult to change filament and make very difficult to feed bamboo labs A1 printer. Again you can get 3d print. For the price it should work better with out mods.

I'm thoroughly impressed!
I have had a creality S1 Plus printer and a V3 KE printer. I kept having stringing issues, more on the S1 than the KE. I kept trying different retraction settings, speed, and temp adjustments and nothing worked on the S1. The same filament that I had little issue with on my KE had lots of issues on my S1. I finally purchased this Sunlu drybox and you can see the difference for yourself. I made no changes to the settings that printed out the awful retraction tower on the left. I designed a sensor runout and ptfe tube holder. I connected the drybox and let the filament dry at 55C for 6 hours. The results are absolutely amazing. Now I feel like I need more dryboxes. I can't recommend this enough to the beginners having stringing issues.Filament is Kingroon PETG printed 1st layer at 250C and 235C after the 1st layer.

Restore damaged filament
Although I was able to figure it out, I did not like the limited instructions. I purchased this in an attempt to fix a spool of filament that became brittle and unusable. After using the sunlu filament dryer I was able to successfully print with the previously unusable filament. The filament dryer is quiet and has so far worked flawlessly. Would purchase again.

buono
Non mi quadrano le temperature di preset di essicazione del PET-G rispetto a quelle che trovi in giro ma tanto possono comunque essere regolate
