This DVD set features two complete shows from the last night of their Deja Voodoo tour on Oct.15, 2004 at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston and their first night of the High & mighty tour at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on December 9, 2006. The DVDs include over 6 hours of performance, interviews, and backstage footage and special lyrics features. That is what a concert DVD package should be, 6 hours, amazing.The band performs classics including Thorazine Shuffle, Mr. Man, Sco-Mule and Banks of the Deep End, and new tracks from their acclaimed 2006 release HIGH AND MIGHTY.Haynes is the complete package, great vocals and a premier guitarist. Only gave 4 stars because it came with a damaged double jewel case and disc one skipped or froze up on 1 song. Really enjoyed watching the Mule perform some of their older stuff. Seen them a year ago in Albany NY and wished they played some of these songs but they were phenomenal anyway ! I thought they were recording the show for a new dvd the next night and i'm patiently waiting for it to be released GOT MULE ?

After reading the first few reviews, I was a little worried when UPS backed up at my door. I've been waiting a really long time for a live Mule DVD (Deep End was great, but I wanted the new band). The other reviews are pretty accurate as far as disc 1 goes. Second set is horribly out of sync with audio. I'll admit this is quite a bummer because the song selection is great and the performance is awesome, but the second disc more than makes up for it. Frankly, I would have happily paid twenty bucks just for the second disc (and given it a 5-star rating). Thus, I can't justify giving less than 5 stars because disc 1 has glitches. I think of it as a great live dvd of the Chicago show with a bonus disc that is half unwatchable.

Great great performance by Warren Haynes and awesome sounding DVD. It is spectacular both shows

Gov't Mule is one of the most talented of the blues/rock bands touring today. They have a large catalog of songs and this DVD showcases the band even when the power fails. The true feeling of the blues comes through in every song. Warren Haynes is simply one of the best guitarists, songwriters and band leaders out there.

If you're a fan of Gov't Mule or top notch musicianship, you need this! Throughout history, very few people have had such a thorough knowledge and understanding of the guitar and how to get what you want out of it, as Warren Haynes. As you would expect... it's all about the music, not booty shakin' & laser lights. You get a lot of music for the money, too. 2 full-length concerts on 2 DVDs!

Live Gov't Mule. The Mule is featured in its best way (live). The Mule is best heard/seen in the live format. This set features two complete live shows. The musicianship these guys is amazing. The sound and video on both shows is great.

After all the stuff written about poor sound quality when this came out, I was hesitant. The second version got the sound straight; the reslt is two great Mule shows, without the usual revolving door of guests. If you like the Mule, you will like this set.

Warren Haynes & Co sind toll in Form, Sound sehr gut, Bildqualität gut; das Repertoire umfasst die jeweils aktuellen CDs (Deja Voodoo, Life before insanity) und einige ältere Klassiker; bei Gov't Mule gibt es keine Bühnenshow, da geht es nur um die Musik, so gesehen wäre das Ganze als CD-Package mit einem Poster ;)) auch OK gewesen; große Kaufempfehlung !

The best footage I have seen of Gov't mule as a hole in a up to date show. Great camera work & recorded audio!

Great concert Dvd's

I have been a Gov't Mule fan for many years and i will no doubt remain a fan for many more years but I found this DVD to be a very disappointing set of performances! Which is probably why it was cheap?
