We bought this to match our big dog’s tactical vest and for riding in the truck. I wasn’t sure I would like the elastic "bungee " style over the standard 6 ft leash, but I do. First is the locking clip. The old style failed when his tags got between the clasp and a few yards into our walk the leash came off. This new one clips onto the ring absolutely securely and is seriously strong. Next, the seat belt works great! We clip it into the receiver in the back of the crew cab with part of the bench seat up. It’s perfect and secure with the vest on. I don’t think I would recommend using it with a neck collar, tho. Next, the bungee. I actually do like this better. The traditional style leash has to be played in and out to keep from getting tangled up in the dog’s legs. This one is self-regulating so it works much better. It also tends to keep him closer to my side because there is more tension on the leash. But it still is able to be extended the full 6 feet. Lastly, something I discovered is the extra handle down close to the dog below the bungee for going to a very short leash. This is great to have available when people come up or cars pass by. Combined with the handle on the vest, you have three spots to use for control. Our dog is an older rescue who had no training, just kept outside in a cage. He’s doing great in his new life living inside with the family, soft beds and fun toys but he’s unreliable on walks. Plus he’s 70 lbs and now that he gets good exercise he’s muscular and strong. This is a great leash for him as he is training and for peace of mind when we go out.

This will probably last a lifetime. The instant connector works perfectly and is on and off in a snap. It has a seat belt clasp so that you can secure your pet while riding in the car. It also dampens stress if your canine tries to pull. The hand grip is comfortable with an optional second grip midway on the leash. Very good design and value. Incredibly rugged.

Love the bungee in the leash. Metal clip is strong. Seat belt clip is awesome but wish could be adjusted on leash. Jax can reach the front seat even though fastened by seat belt clip in back seat. Would recommend to friends.

I bought with their harness and I love the leash. Latching mechanism is different but solid. I love the buckle attachment of it and use that feature alot. Great leash for dog trainers, law enforcement, search and rescue ect.

My dogs dont know how go to walksThis absolutely work i dont feel the pull when they try to run for my big dogs the handle for traffic works like a charm only thing i would recommend is that the belt for the buckle to be a close to the traffic handleBut its only cause my car is short and they would still go to the front seats even with the buckle connected to the seat

She pulls on it and its very durable thats why i use a prong collar to stop her from pulling love the bungee on it

Extremely good leash with durable safety features like clip that closes with levers so no way to undo by dog. Has handle that’s attached near to front helps to control and bungee is great for the dogs to be able to pull and not hurt owner. Very effective design for training or tactical or just walking close to your dog that’s strong.

I've been using this for about a month, and it's decent. A few notes: the elastic is good for a medium-sized dog, and the handle is great. It's easy to put on and take off.However, one of my biggest issues is that the car seat belt doesn't engage, thus that is useless.

Cons:Stretched out after one use with large dog (100lbs).Did not recoil.Pros:Military clip was great.Padded handle good.Would not purchase again for my large dog 100 lbs.
