Works well in Chicago

They’re great when they fit
Took these on vacation recently when my husband and I were staying in a separate room from our two teen daughters. It fit at one hotel and worked great, but not the other. Even though the slim metal piece has two different opening sizes, it wasn’t small enough for one of the doors. I did really like that the body of these is aluminum, not plastic.

Perfect for a flight attendant
This has worked on almost every hotel door as advertised. The only one it hasn’t worked on is because the gap was too small as stated in the description. I feel much safer with it

Worthless
Hasn't worked on a single door at all.Every hotel we have stayed at in the stated and in Europe has doors you can't use this on. If you want to use it on your bathroom door at home, this product is for you. The only protection this will give you in a hotel is if you throw it at someone breaking into your room

That it not universal
We went on vacation & purchased this just for my peace of mind! However it did not fit the door lock ! My mind security went out the window ! So please anyone purchasing this lock keep in mind that it is possible it would not fit the hotel door
