MOTHERS 156200 Detailing Brushes, Set of 2

I find these brushes very useful for removing excess polish (or polish dust) and paste wax that has accidentally been pushed down between body panels or between a panel and trim making it hard to get out. I also use them for cleaning around fiddly shapes such as the maker's badge/lettering and plastic lights. The bristles are a bit stiffer than you would like when the brushes are brand new, but they soon soften up with use. As per the instructions, I strongly recommend that you pre-spray the area you intend to brush first with a suitable lubricating fluid such as detailing spray or waterless wash, to minimise the risk of scratches.These brushes are well made and haven't lost any bristles after several months of regular use. The handles are made of robust plastic coated with rubberised grips and are easy and comfortable to hold, even with wet hands. There is a thin chisel-shaped tip to the rubber handle coating which can be used to squeeze into narrow gaps without risk of scratching, which may prove useful (although I haven't really used mine!).Mothers make good quality cleaning brushes and equipment and these brushes are no different. They're a really useful addition to your car cleaning bag and come highly recommended.

Great addition to my cleaning kit. Seen a bit stiff at first but no damage done. Very effective on door cards and seats. Haven't tried on any bodywork yet.

It's a brush. That cleans stuff! How wrong could Mother's get it!They work really well on alloy wheel detailing. The instructions say that the fibres will not damage paintwork, but I will still be relying on microfibre towels for paintwork detail. Very handy addition to the cleaning kit though as they are quite small, but the fibres do mis-shape quite quickly. They would get 3 stars if it wasn't for the very reasonable price.

Great tool to have around the home and car, very easy to use and has so many different uses.

I was initially disappointed when the brushes arrived, the bristles were much harder than expected so I won't be using these on paintwork around badges, or on gloss plastics.BUT - for cleaning vinyl effect interior plastics, these things are a god-send. Spray with APC, srub down with one of these brushes and wipe up with a microfiber towel and the panel is spotless. No more going over the same area several times with a boars hair brush, or trying to scrub with an MF towel,

If your into detailing your car, these brushes are excellent for those nooks and crannies.

Feels like the brushes were used...
