SteenbergsOrganic Lavender Dried Flower Standard Jar 12g

I bought this to use in a specific recipe (laavender sable biscuits) and they are wonderful! I've got quite a few Steenbergs herbs, spices and blends and find them consistently good so wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else and the screw-top jar keeps them nice and fresh. They've got a good long use by date as well - I just need a few more lavender recipes! 😁

Although this is very good lavender. I cannot believe how expensive it is for the tiniest pot. It was the only organic lavender available for next day delivery however other bags with over double the amount available was only a few pounds more. I like the lavender but not the price.

The quality of the lavender is good, well presentable in a glass jar and fresh, however there is too many sticks considering the price and not enough flower, I found myself constantly picking out twiggy bits and unrelated material, I was hoping it would be mostly flower.

Have used these in a cake and biscuits since my purchase. Easy to measure our teaspoon/tablespoon as it has a large opening. I crushed them a little bit with the back of a spoon when making the biscuits. The lavender was more evenly distributed in the biscuits compared to the cake where I didn’t do this. Has stored well as it has been a few months between using it and still very fresh.

Clean lavender, packaged in glass. I use it to make moonmilk for my instagram page @ ilovemoonmilk it has a pleasant organic smell.
