This is SeRaya's debut novel and I really enjoyed it. Sofia's parents were murdered in front of her 7 years ago, she escaped, but vowed she would get her revenge against the man responsible. Sofia first met Theo when he was hired to protect her after her parents were killed. Sofia was always going to seek out her revenge, so when Theo fell in love with her and one night of passion, she leaves him - ho doesn't need to be involved in her plans.Sofia changes her name and looks and marries her parents killer, Victor Morales, but when personal threats start to arrive Victor hires a bodyguard to protect her. Sofia didn't expect that bodyguard to be the man she loved and then left 7 years ago. Theo has never forgotten Sofia, he's waited for her, he will protect her with his life. There's some seriously hot chemistry between them, Theo's love for Sofia grows exponentially now they have reconnected, and he is not going to let go. The tension and suspense builds throughout the book making this a rollercoaster ride of note.

Honestly, this story is so good, it has everything, he’s had me at the edge of my seat for most of the book. The connection between Sofia and Theo is amazing, true love at its best. I definitely recommend it 100%.

This may have been one of the best books I have read in such a long time. So much love for this book and I am sharing this to all my friends.

Sofia is focused on vengeance for her parents’ deaths, and when a bodyguard is hired to protect her, it is Theo, the man she left 7-years previously to protect him. Theo will do whatever he must to keep Sofia safe, and the chemistry between these two is intense and undeniable. This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, intense, and intriguing, with angst, tension, suspense, obsession, danger, revenge, survival, and love, which leads to a heartwarming and steamy page turner.I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.
