I bought 2 of these fans because I live in the hot & humid New Orleans area. Our car ac does blow cold, but the ac fan doesn't blow hard enough to cool the car. I think it would be cooler if someone blew on me! I thought that these might help to move the cold air from the ac, since they attach directly to a vent. They arrived a couple of days ago & were super easy to put together & attach to the vent. I was a little concerned because so many of the reviews stated that the clips weren't good. However, the "clip" isn't a clip at all. Instead, you insert a padded thing into the vent. It can easily be repositioned if need be & isn't permanently affixed, so if you hit a big bump in the road or accidentally knock it, it may fall out. I'm happy with the design of the clip. The fan has 3 speeds & really blows! It isn't warm enough yet to know if this will help make the car more tolerable this summer, but I'll come back & edit my review to let you know!

Satisfied with delivery. We live in the very hot south and our vehicle is old and it only cools the front area, so this fan really helps. It clips on to the vent; it is very quiet and draws the cold air from the A/C. If your vehicle doesn't have air conditioning, it will only work as a fan and not give cold air.We ordered another one and will use it with the Rocketek 2-Socket Car Splitter Cigarette Lighter Adapter 4 in 1 Multi Power Outlet 12/24V 90W with 3.1A 2 USB Car Charger Adapter, Cigarette Lighter Splitter Adapter to run a fan for the driver and one for the passenger.We also bought the Poraxy Car Fan, 12V Electric Auto Cooling Fan for Backseat, Headrest 360 Degree Rotatable Dual Head Stepless Speed Rear Seat Air Fan (it has 2 fans) to circulate the air and also cool the back seat area for the dog.We also bought these cute little fans to wear when we go to the park or just anywhere: Stsase Portable Fan 10000mAh Rechargeable, Mini Waist Fan With Max 24H Working Time, 3 Speeds 5100RPM Strong Airflow Wearable Personal Small Clip Fan. I was surprised how well they work. I'm thinking I will get one for the dog and put it in her Pet Gear jogger stroller pointed at her. Texas summers are brutal!! We will do anything to cool off, and these items all help. I'm just hoping they last the summer.

Was pleasantly surprised when I first used his fan to see how powerful it is and how much air it actually moves. I use it in the work truck I drive as the blower motor doesn't always work, this makes hot days very pleasant

It’s a fan people! The cord is a tad long for my particular car, but I am kinda funny about clutter and cords in my car. It works great and has 3 speed options that can easily be adjusted. The only con that I had was with the actual part that slips onto the car vent-this could be car specific, but I found it to be tight and had to put in a little effort to get it to slide onto the vent. Otherwise it works fine, noise is minimal, and it was cheap. I see many reviews talking about the actual temperature of the air this fan will blow and I think that’s a moot point for a car with no circulating cold air - if it’s hot inside-the fan is going to circulate the hot air it is pushing!!!! Expectations have to be realistic-it’s not going to create cold air like a fan in a home per se, but it will circulate air as it was designed -but the temperature of said air is dependent on your environment inside the car. The fan has to be powered on every time the power source to the car is restarted, so remember that because I forgot a few times and was wondering what happened. Overall, it’s a great portable fan for the car to help boost already circulating air, but it is in no shape a replacement for failed AC.

I bought 2 of these USB fans. Both only last 4 days before it stopped working.The first one I purchased was 8 months ago. And it lasted 6 months. So I thought maybe I’ll try again and bought the two. That was a big mistake. Don’t buy these fans. They don’t even last a week. And then trying to get a refund is like pulling teeth. The Amazon service thur a smart phone is incomplete at best.

Well...yes it a fan and works great. It's actually pretty strong. But if your AC is out in our car, it just blows hot air lol.

I initially was going to look for another car vent fan because I thought the reviews were claiming that it was useless for its job, that wasn’t the case. Perhaps some people forget a fan is only going to move air around, and not an air conditioner? However, with that said I just got it all setup in my car to replace one that was showing age (Purchased another model by another brand back in April 2020) and it was time for a new one. The only difference I can tell offhand by the two is this one doesn’t have the LED lighting my other one did. I have enough add on interior lighting in this car I can absolutely do without this fan having lights. One things certain, it is INCREDIBLY strong. My Crosstrek is a solid car but the HVAC blower can tend to be a tad bit weak. This helps move air to the back of the cabin, effectively cooling/heating my car quicker. It’s very quiet too. The switch is on the cord more towards the fan head and is easy to cycle through the speeds (3). There is fan noise as it is a fan, but will easily be drowned out by road noise/ambience. I’ll update this review in 3 months to see if anything changes with it but I think 4 so far is a good rating for now. I think the only thing I would change and it’s really a me preference is have it remember if it was on or not the last time i shut my car off but then again, some areas have warm nights and cold morning you may not want it to blast cold air at you. With that said, it won’t replace air conditioning (it’s not supposed to) but it absolutely can help aid a weak HVAC system you may have in your car.UPDATE 4/30/2024It’s been 4 months and plenty of road trips with this unit. We have a winner! Still very quiet and love the fact you can take off the grill for easy cleaning. Not a single thing i’d change on the unit. I’d recommend this unit for any vent in your cabin that may need some boost. Can easily see this being a hit in the backseat in a fully loaded car to avoid the backseat being stagnant.
