sencha quality taste from india! great price well packaged, fresh!i'd like to add a tasting note that this is half toasted some how. it seems to be "sencha towards chinese tea." i think this is more complicated and interesting than the pure steamed senchas.I hope sincerely they expand green tea offering and maybe introduce white and lightly oxidized oolong!

Was looking for Indian Assam tea. Had been given a lovely gift and it reminded me of the lovely Assam teas from my childhood. This one misses the bright flavor. is a little flat and muddy tasting. I'm using it for iced teas instead of special pots.

Absolutely loved the tea! I followed the instructions and brewed for 1 min. It has a lovely, sweet after taste-perfect for a relaxing afternoon or after a stressful day. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes green tea. Also gifted some to my neighbors and they were fans! I'll be buying more :)

Love that it is organic. Brewed for the 1 min as directed and got a lovely colored cup of fragrant green tea. Definitely brew a second time for different notes!

First, let me say that if this type of tea is what you like, that;s fantastic. I know for a fact now that it is not for me. This review is about the taste of this tea & not the packaging or condition in which it arrived.I really like Chinese green tea & I wanted to try different types. I also like my tea on the strong side.I wanted to try these type of Indian teas as they are supposed to be really top notch. I was aware that this tea as a slightly "muscadine" flavor. This also was my first loose leaf tea.The bag was sealed properly & the tea looked & smelled ok to me. I brewed 4 cups worth. I used 170 F water & steeped for 3-4 min. I always add a good bit of sweetener & some lemon. The brewed tea smelled pretty good with a slightly fruity / musty flavor. The taste, however was a terrible experience. have to honestly say this was the worst tasting drink or beverage I have ever tried to drink. I was led to believe the muscadiness was mild. It is not! The taste of this tea was in a word, acrid. The first sip was like something biting my tongue it was so bitter & acrid tasting that no o amount of sugar or lemon took away the underlying bad taste.I guess I will stick to the middle of the road Chinese green teas or the milder Japanese ones.

Simply amazing. It tastes perfect. Leaf are fully grown and least oxidised. Brew same tea twice won't recommend since taste become too light.
