RonsealCRPBWAP4 400g Colron Refined Beeswax Paste - Antique Pine

does the job
All our internal doors are pine. Most were already waxed but some were 'raw', dry, unwaxed, slightly pink with a coarse surface feel. After one coat the doors look beautiful - silky smooth and lovely antique colouring. It's quite hard work - needs some elbow grease. Follow the instructions. Do not put too much on at a time as it dries fairly quickly and if you haven't spread it enough it will dry a bit streaky - and the streaks are wax that you can scrape off with your nail. So work fast over smallish areas to get an even covering. I did my doors with 2 coats. The second coat is of course much quicker and easier and doesn't need as much wax for coverage. Make sure you put some protection under the door to avoid getting wax on a carpet as you do the lower edges of the door.

Great product
This is really easy to apply and produces a good sheen with minimal effort, a little goes a long way, so great value at Amazon at £14, I checked Homebase and same size was £20. Others have commented on the scent, it’s OK, to me it’s like a heavy Palmolive smell but goes off fast, I probably prefer a more traditional polish smell but it’s not an issue and certainly should not put anyone off using. Excellent product, easy, fast and great finish, what more could you want. One last thing I sanded to 320 grit which certainly helps to get a good finish on softwood.

Great product - terrible packaging!
I've used Ronseal coloured wax pastes several times before and have found it to be consistently good - easy to use and gives great results, especially if applied with a bit of patience in several thin layers and plenty of polishing between coats. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the tin was delivered in a padded envelope. When opened, it became immediately obvious that the tin had fallen open during transit and a large amount of the polish had spread itself round the inside of the envelope and covering the tin. Bearing in mind the product itself is far more fluid than traditional wax polish, I leave you to imagine the mess this made.

Don’t buy
Anyone thinking of buying this product (or any colour from the range) please DON’TIt faded quickly and did not last. I had some internal doors I wanted to protect, polish and ever so slightly darken but still achieve a natural effectI didn’t get that with this product. Despite not touching the door frame, in weeks the product had faded. I decided to revarnish using some cheap furniture spray polish from a supermarket and the result was a million times better for a fraction of the priceI also purchased this in a coloured range but the colour was so terrible I ended up sanding it off

Good quality polish
Good quality product. Wipe on, buff off. Used for new pine furniture, and to re polish existing pine furniture. Great sheer shine finish on both.

Tin comes half empty and the polish is very weak.
Feel robbed, the tin came half empty like either it's been half used or the tin is only half filled, as to the beeswax polish weak put two coats on so far and very little shine will give it a couple of more coats to my wardrobe , but so far I'm not happy and not impressed.
