Super Troopers [Blu-ray]

When it comes to this movie I always think of the scene at the beginning of the film where Jay Chandrashekar pulls over the teenagers and the passenger is yelling to the squad car: "He's already pulled over, he can't pull over anymore!" come sense comedy. This movie was a riot. Had a respectable cast and broken lizards is on par with national lampoons in my opinion. I was in the 5th grade when this movie came out and I couldn't get enough of it. Who cares if it was rated R. this was a good movie and would later spawn reno 911 in that decade. In all reality this revied the cop comedy.

I hadn’t watched this movie in years. I forgot how stupid and hilarious it is. The beginning scene gets me every time. It’s definitely a movie to watch if you’re wanting some stupid humor.

An absolute classic that is highly underrated. A great lads movie. I got feed up waiting for this to come out on blu-ray in Australia and as I have a multi region blu-ray player it was time to upgrade from my beloved, and well watched, dvd version.

THE FILM:a cult classic recommended to me by so many people over the years that I've lost count. It's fun, loose and easy watching. Goes best with a box of beer. Not a major upgrade here. Blu ray is more colourful and sharper at times but seriously, not a major enhance (bangs keyboard) to be Fair, I'm sure Super Troopers wasn't filmed with 50 inch HD tv's in mind. ISound is ok, dialogue is a bit low at times but mostly it's fine.BONUS FEATURESTwo audio commentaries, deleted scenes, trailers and two featurettes. Reversible sleeve that's almost identical but one has the BBFC ratings and the other doesn't.OVERALLIn the last week signal one has given us Super Troopers on blu ray and 101Films has given us Baseketball on Blu Ray. They're not showcase stuff but it's hard not to support releases like this on disc. It's good to support smaller companies and show that we want films like this on Blu Ray. So my verdict? Buy it MEOW

we watched this one night on tv and we both screamed out loud at it it was a breath of fresh air from all this `british` comedy about your ordinary life - which billy connolly did great and y try better him ? anyways we are in our 50`s so we bought it for our son who was around 23 then and he loved it - in fact we just bought it for him again because he wanted his new girlfriend to see it ! its funny AS -well anything !
