The Callow smoker box features a v-shape bottom which allow it to sit between the flame deflector bars of most gas grills. This positions the smoke right beneath the food grate for the most intense smoke flavour. Durable, nonstick coated metal smoker box has hinged lid and is reusable. Add wood chips of your flavour choice and place between the flame deflector bars on the gas grill. (wood chips not included)

great device and being small fits perfectly between my hot plates

Smoke box didn't work for me.
The BBQ bars need to be far apart for the smoke box to be stable. I had to rest mine flat on top of the bars... and using wood chips as specified, it wouldn't smoke. My brother bought a rectangular box, and that worked fine.
