This is an excellent product for replacing the waste ink tank on an Epson printer. For me, it was the XP 600. There are videos available to show you how to take your printer apart. It was very easy, although a magnetic ended screwdriver is a must. Once the old ink tank is removed, throw away the waste sponges, which are like thick pieces of felt and wipe clean the tank. Plastic gloves are useful for this as he’s a plastic bag for the old sponges. Replace the tank and screw the plates back onto the printer. Once this is done, you need to download a waste ink reset key from the Internet which costs about a fiver. This allows your laptop and printer to communicate and reset the waste ink counter to 0%. This last step is essential in order for things to work and your printer to be reset to the beginning of its printing life. Once you have downloaded the waste ink reset key, follow the instructions closely, and it will work perfectly!
