Worked perfect!
We made an o-ring for a drive motor on a Jacobsen mower and it worked perfect. There isn't a drop of oil leaking anymore.

Works as advertised
Easy to use. Wonder if they have a version with square/rectangular extrusion? Could use that too for lid gasketing.

U.S. Company w/ Great Service
This O ring splice kit from Beaver Island Parts Co is a versatile kit to have aboard my offshore sailboat; it's nice to be able to fabricate my own o-rings when I can't source OEM parts. Also, I had a question about the adhesive used -- I wanted to know if I could get more from the Beaver Island or if I could find it from other suppliers should I have to -- and the company immediately answered my email and told me the adhesive was simply a Super Glue-type adhesive and could be sourced from anywhere. And the customer service guy then reiterated how to best fabricate the o-rings for success (only use 1/2 drop at most to glue the ends together, otherwise the glue won't set up). Awesome company!

Good all around kit!
Has all the sizes that I usually use along with glue and razor set up.

Good to have around
Buy single use glue, makes it easier. Bought it to use on two things. It's saved me a lot of guessing at the hardware store.

The correct O ring
Always have the correct size O ring with for a good seal.

Guage with kit is garbage
The guage to measure diameter of o-ring is trash in this kit. It is cheaply made and barely held together. More importantly, it is in decimal form, not fractional. The decimal numbers on kit do not match up with fractional sizes.
