I purchased this for my baby when he was around two months old because of its bright colours and high contrast. It was a little heavy for him at first, but at two months most babies aren't able to hold and wave things around much anyway. He is now almost three months and can wave it around easily.The rattle is easy to hold as it is double ended and produces a nice loud rattling sound

I bought this because of the double-ended design. My 18 m/o has a habit of chewing everything and I didn't want any lost eyes from the handles of traditional maracas. This solves the problem and is perfectly sized for tiny hands, but not heavy enough to do any damage when they hit themselves in the head with it!

We bought these for the youngest children in a Sunday School group. Perfect for very small children or toddlers due to small handles and light weight. They don’t make a lot of noise which in a group setting won’t matter, but it may matter for a solo, budding percussionist. We bought the ladybird version and they’re nicely painted and cheerful- looking.

Bought for 5 month old son. It is well made but lightweight for baby to hold. The colours are bright and eye-catching and so far the paint hasn't budged. Not too noisy but enough to keep babies attention.

Arrived early and well packaged. The brightly coloured ladybird design was great and my Grandson (18 months) has enjoyed playing with it.

My 4 month old lives this maraca. She enjoys watching me shake it. she is only just learned to grab and hold things and this is a good size for her little hands.
