Bought this to replace a smaller magnetic smartphone holder which wasn't strong enough to hold my Xperia xa1 when driving the truck (stiff suspension = lots of bumps and jolts). This Wuteku holder is easily strong enough to do the job with the metal plate glued to the back of the phone, however if I leave the phone in it's Sony style cover the magnet is only strong enough if the holder is angled about 30 degrees or less - did I mention the truck bounces a lot? Haven't tried it in a car but can't see this as a problem. Still worth 5 stars because of the convenience of just grabbing the phone when exiting the vehicle and not having to wiggle it free from a conventional holder.

This item is good magnet is very strong takes a while to suction to your car but give it time and it sticks like superglue, better than any had before.

You get a few sticky pads with this but seems this one had 3 that were old and had no adhesion to them at all.

This was the second one I bough, having bought another earlier that immediately fell off. I liked this one as you can change the angel quit a lot which offers flexibility around where it can be fitted.It stuck well, very little vibration.However if your phone has wireless charging you should note that with the plate on the back, wireless charging won’t work.

This really is a superb bit of kit.I have a S7 with a hard heavy case. I superglue the magnet to the back of it which doesn't look out of place. I only did this as like I said my case is heavy and durable for a standard thin case the sticky on back of magnet should be fine. The magnet wasn't strong enough for me to put one is my case but that is because of the thickness of my case, not because the product is rubbish it holds me phone perfectly.Def recommend it

Bought this for my new car and it came with all the required bits for various scenarios. I was delighted to find my phone stuck to it without the additional magnets on sticky pads, and it stays there. The bracket stuck like a limpet to the car also. Only minor irritation is the bracket plate has moved a little and will require adjusting and re-tightening to set the angle I want again, but this is a great product.

Really easy to install, strong grip, effective and easy to use. I was able to attach this on the inside of the cigarette / change tray lid mazing I can completely hide the stand when not in use; and with the metal strip on the inside of the phone cover also unaffected the phone's appearance or effectiveness.

Really good bit of kit.
