Rather basic, better Halilit sets out there:
I’ve bought lots of different Halilit instruments and they are usually excellent. I went for these in a last minute panic as they had fast delivery and I’m afraid I rather regret it.They are sweet little plastic toys that are engaging for a young child - around 6-10 months possibly. A snail, a fish and a ladybird. I bought them for my 1 year old who likes them but they really are quite basic. The sounds they produce aren’t up to the usual quality of Halilit and they don’t feel or sound like proper instruments. If you don’t mind something really basic that aren’t much more than just rattles then get these. However, if you want to add to your instrument collect I would go for something else. They simply don’t compare to the quality of the bells, tambourines, drums etc that come in a number of the other Halilit instrument sets. I wish I’d been more organised and had the time to go for something else.

Nice toys, but I wouldn't buy again - incomplete information about the product
They are nice toys, but I wouln't decide to buy them if I knew they are made in a country where children are being arrested on a daily basis.I’m sure there are many shoppers who have bought Halilit goods without being aware they are Israeli. It would be easy to do so: I checked the entries for some Halilit products on the Amazon website and didn’t see any information about where they were made. I was delighted to buy two sets of toys as a Christmas present for my niece. That was before I picked up one of them and saw “Made in Israel.”Or-Yehuda was built on land belonging to Saqiya, a Palestinian village forcibly depopulated during the Nakba, the vicious ethnic cleansing that led to Israel’s foundation in 1948.Halilit’s promotional material is replete with photographs of smiling infants. The images tell us nothing about how Israel treats Palestinian children. We do not learn that pupils in Gaza have to do their homework in the dark because the besieged territory is encountering severe power cuts. We do not learn either that Gaza’s children are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder because Israel subjected them to the shocking atrocities during the 51 days of 'Operation Protective Edge', almost 500 children were killed during summer 2014.I made the wrong choice and purchased these toys because I wasn't aware, but I hope this review will help others who don't want to support the oppression.

Fantastic musical toys for my 3 month old
Each toy has a different sound, they are also great shapes for little hands. Our favourite is the fish.

Great for noise making and teething
These are great! Got them for my 5 month old and she did initially find them a little bit difficult to hold but have now become her favourite little toys. The actual 'musical-ness' of these is excellent and are a perfect introduction to noise making for little ones. A little added bonus is that the pointy bits on the animals make for great tools for rubbing sore gums!

Tricky for small hands
Good mix of sounds. Used at baby group to allow a choice of sounds and they are a hit, hence why bought for home use. But tricky for little hands to grab and keep hold of.
