Formulation change?
I have been buying these tablets for quite some time now. They were always very small pills, and gave a good dose of B2 which made my urine very bright yellow. The latest pills I bought were larger and had a definite score mark in the middle. This is all fine, but I now notice that my urine is barely yellow after taking them. I think they are no longer as strong or as well absorbed as before, so will not be buying them again as I depend on a good B2 source.

Migraine - Very pleased, good product
Used to pay a fortune for these from a high street retailer. Was nervous to try buying vitamins online but gave it a go and I'm pleased I did. I've been buying these over a year now and I won't swap brand again. Arrive very quickly each time. I was diagnosed with chronic migraine and I tend to suffer side affects with strong medication (I have taken beta blockers for years with no ill affects) Info was requested by my specialist to another specialist when he was at a loss how to help me. I was very sceptical but I tried them 400mg a day, 200mg twice a day. I’ve taken them for over a decade now and they really help me. They don’t get rid of a migraine but they really subdue it’s terrible effects. I have even stopped taking them a few times and I’ve gone straight back on them. I can’t stand the pain!

Significant help for migraines in handy unobtrusive packaging
Similar to a previous reviewer, I suffer from optical migraines, which present with zig-zag lines and pressure behind one eye, and usually end up with entire areas disappearing from my vision and a constant thumping pain behind the eyes which can persevere for hours, and have a hangover of several days. I take sumitriptan when I feel a migraine coming on and this usually stops the migraine starting. Before I started taking Vitamin B2 I would have a 1-3 day migraine at least once a month (usually timed with ovulation), which was controlled by sumitriptan 75% of the time. Since taking B2 every day (since March 2018 I have not had a single migraine, and one twinge that started a few weeks after I started taking them was put down by sumitriptan. I still occasionally get the pressure behind my eyes - and can now control that with ibuprofen. Oxford Vitality's B2 is cheaper and stronger than other brands, and the paper packaging can be unobtrusively stored in my desk drawer. Whilst the directions say to take one per day, I sometimes up the dosage to two if I'm around that time of the month or if I've had eye pressure.B2 is a miracle. It also gives you yellow wee.

Package is different from the picture
The words were not printed onto the package but a sticker printed with words was put on instead. Don't feel safe. I wouldn't like to think it is not an authentic products.

'Wee'ly yellow!
These little pills are extremely easy to swallow - this was a major factor in my choice - so I was very pleased (and relieved) to see the size on opening the packet. Talking of opening the packet, I can fully appreciate the 'green' aspect of the manufacturer's choice of packaging (including the thoughtful choice regarding ease of delivery through a letterbox) but I have to say that I did find it a little difficult to open the plastic strip...someone with problems with their fine motor skills or with visual problems would probably find it impossible. I have only been taking the pills for three days so it's a little early to say if they're doing me any good (someone recommended I try Vitamin B2 to help with my tinnitus, but there's no change there yet) but it's certainly brightened the colour of my wee (as warned!)

For migraine (as per "NICE")
As a pharmacist, I read the NICE guidelines, and I also suffer from migraines. Not the full blown syndrome all the time, but quite often prodrome to headache. Managed diet, tried all the usual meds - watched the triggers. Did everything recommended. Nope - still there. So I thought I'd try an experiment on myself for the recommended "trial" from NICE - to use riboflavine (B2) 400mg daily. Been on it now for 8 months and I have had one migraine in the last 5. Had a few zig-zag lines starting that the triptan kept in check, but overall has worked for me. The reduction is remarkable - I was struggling to avoid 1-2 a week at the "light-show" stage, now it is rare for me to see the signs of one starting. This isn't scientific, and I make no claims! However it is (as I said!) in the NICE guidelines, so someone has looked quite hard at the evidence.

Do the job
I'd agree with comments I've seen that these are absorbed well because they predictably come out in urine by colour. Well worth checking for known potential B2 benefits against migraine, mouth ulcers (may be more), as good value.

Good value and easy to take
I have been taking 400mg vitamin B2 per day along with co-enzyme Q10 and feverfew for some time, on the advice of my neurologist. It is not always easy to buy vitamin B2 in large doses. As these tablets are small, compared to a brand I had been buying, it is much easier to take 4 of them. I have been taking these for two weeks now and they seem just as good as my previous brand, and they were a lot cheaper too. I also like the fact they are in plain packaging. Who needs a fancy plastic bottle?
