Great kit for the patient
I have a couple of these. Working in a university which is active for outreach these looked really good when I saw them on Kickstarter. The kit is well thought out and the instructions are clear. Minor niggles are that the plastic vessel is a touch more flexible that might be desired and the circuit board tended to pop off the lid, but these are minor. Overall it is a great kit. My microbiologist colleagues were so impressed that they bought a heap of them and have been using them in primary schools.Without doing anything to feed the soil it ran for about a month and a half before becoming exhausted. I'll revisit it when I can get them back from my outreach colleagues. Four and a half stars really. I've not tried the app at all - built my own electronics around it.
