This is perfect and you can put sand inside the pockets so it doesn’t blow away and when you are finished, you can just dump all the sand back onto the floor and drys very quickly!

This is a very compact lightweight parachute type blanket that can mark a large spot on the beach or in the grass for a picnic. It's massive, and the sand pockets work great. It's so light and small we packed it in the luggage and took it on our beach vacation with us, it was light enough to throw in a backpack and carry it a mile to the beach and use it all day. Even with wind the pockets are big enough to fill with enough sand to keep it from blowing away. My favorite feature is the fact that the bag is part of the blanket so it easily packs into itself when you are ready to head home. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 for the simple reason that it stains with sunscreen. We wear a lot of sunscreen because we have fair skin and on our week long beach vacation it had large stain marks from where the sunscreen dripped off of us. I washed it to no avail as the stains are still there. The only other issue some might have is it gets very very wrinkled because it's stuffed into such a small bag and the material it is made of. Needless to say I still like it very much, but I'd be slightly embarrassed to use it with company now that it's stained.

This thing is great! It's massive, so you can get 2 adults on there very comfortably, and 3 adults if you don't mind nearly being cozy and putting your toes in the sand. I love how small if folds up into it's little bag, but the best part might be how quickly it dries. I'll go into the ocean, and come back to this and lay on it for a bit to dry off; when I get off of it, it will be dry in minutes. If you need to get out in a hurry, just empty the sand out of the little corner holders, and let it flap in the breeze for a minute...it'll be dry in no time! The sand baggies on the edges are great, and they hold this thing down with no issues. I usually dig a little hole, and fill the baggies up with the sand from that hold, and then put the baggie down into the hole I just created. The wind won't be able to move this puppy if properly dug in.

Huge blanket! 7'x9' Sand pockets make so much more sense than stakes that can just rip the fabric or get lost. Integrated stuff sack is super easy to use and it even has a compression sack so you can't believe how small this thing gets. Be warned it isn't a moisture barrier so damp sand or wet grass would just soak through, however, as a base layer to put towels on or just hanging out on dry sand it is a breeze to clean-up and a lifesaver. My kids LOVE playing with this in the offseason. The sand pouches are perfect for putting a couple of board books or a bean bag to weigh down and drape over the couch for a fort. No more wrecking mom's fitted sheets for our frozen Elsa castles. We have also played parachute games with the play group since this is lightweight rip-stop nylon the kids can grab on and fling around balls/toys in the middle.

I was surprised at how large this is. I got it today and spread it out. In the pictures you can see the size compared to a full-size iPad. A few nice design features:1. Big! You really can fit many people on this2. Has an integrated storage pouch. You are going to lose it :-)3. Has a separate pouch to store keys and other small items.4. Well built. The seams have double and triple stitching5. Soft material. It's lightweight get strong. Very comfortable to lay on. It feels like the same material used in WildHorn's camping hammock (an awesome product in its own right)6. You can fill the corner pouches with sand or other material to keep it from blowing away7. The integrated storage pouch has straps to cinch it down smaller. It's compacts down very small. (Compare the iPad to the blacket in pouch in the pics)Very pleased with this purchase.

I wish the sand didn’t collect on it. But other than that, its super easy to clean!!! The liquids spilled on it made it wet and stain. I thought it would be more water resistant. Still a great beach blanket

This blanket is seriously awesome! I keep it in the truck all the time! We are in Florida so beaches, parks, outdoor events are a way of life! With 3 kids its not always reasonable to bring folding chairs everywhere so this is so perfect! We all fit easily with space to spare! I was devastated when we went camping on an Island a few weeks ago and this was left in the car on the mainland on accident!! It washes easily and goes back in its little bag perfectly everytime! Its very light weight so even my 4yr old can carry it on long walks to wherever our adventure is leading us and it doesnt get too heavy even for her!

This was easy to use and easy to fold back in the bag! Easy to get sand off. Big enough for several people to fit plus sit all our stuff! Loved it.
